55€ me costó una habitación con una cama de matrimonio en Alicante. Hasta ahí todo normal.
Art Hause se llama, porque tiene muchos cuadros y "elementos artísticos".
La llegada fue menos que acogedora, no hay recepción. Si no nos abre un cliente, tenemos que esperar 30 minutos fuera con la calor que hacía. Una vez dentro buscamos la recepción que pasamos por alto pues solo consta de una mesita con un par de tarjetas de contacto donde el número sale comunicando o no disponible y no hay normalmente nadie.
Una vez dentro la recepcionista, el sistema de check in totalmente digital se tiene que hacer individualmente con escasa ayuda por parte del personal, que parece estar de adorno como sus diferentes piezas de "arte".
No solo eso, nos corrigen de mala manera al rellenar mal el formulario, en vez de ayudar cuando dijimos repetidas veces que no teníamos ni idea de como hacerlo.
Al final te dan dos códigos, uno para la puerta de la calle, con la cual tuvimos problemas para meterlo porque un número parece estar defectuoso, cómo no y el de la habitación.
En la habitación, un agujero en el suelo tapado con una alfombra, muebles de la abuela de mi abuela, una ventana que no cierra, un wifi que no va, unas lámparas que no funcionan, el cuadro del cabecero torcido y un colchón que literalmente te hundías en un agujero negro. Sinceramente, parecía que no podía ser peor, pero sí baño conpartido y las obras de arte eran juguetes "de mi primo el chico" y cuadros que quitando 4-5, la mayoría parecen haberlos pintado con el dedo chico del pie. De vergüenza.
55€ euros de estafa.
Así monta cualquiera un Hostal.

I rarely write reviews, but what is shown on the website and the pictures does not match reality. The hotel is very overcrowded; the rooms and shared bathrooms lack basic amenities.

Although they eventually changed my room after 3 days without any issues (since I was given a different room than the one I booked), in 11 days, no one even asked if I wanted my towels or sheets changed.
The rooms are non-functional and lack essentials. I would even suggest that for a hotel like this, they should put plastic covers on the mattresses under the sheets for hygiene reasons.

There are no hygiene or disinfection supplies anywhere—not in the rooms, the shared bathrooms, or the kitchenette, which is used instead of a reception desk because there is no actual reception.
The door entry codes are quite loud and the room doors aren't well-sealed, so you can hear everything. It’s unpleasant for me as a night owl because I have to be extremely careful not to disturb others, but in the morning while I'm sleeping, people are very loud when leaving their rooms. You can hear everyone passing by, opening doors, or going to the toilet.

I didn't feel completely safe at night because some people who weren't staying at the hotel were coming in.
Guests kept arriving late at night (after midnight), which is disruptive for those sleeping. Personally, it bothered me less since I go to bed late, but I imagine it's not pleasant for others.
Families with small children were walking through the hallways when the kids couldn't sleep, and since everything echoes, they weren't very careful about the noise.
The carpets in the hallways are dirty and impractical—pure filth; it would be more hygienic without them.
There is no trash can in front of the entrance. In front of the "Barco" entrance (the shared complex), instead of putting two chairs for guests to sit while waiting for their entry codes, they placed a non-functional statue.
The wind in Alicante is very strong, and there is nowhere to hide on that street, yet there’s a statue where a bench should be. Even though I agreed to arrive between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, I arrived exactly at 6:00 PM and waited 30 minutes in front of the entrance for my code.
Some things to consider regarding functionality: simplify things, improve the room door seals to reduce noise, and lower the volume of the door code beeps as they are very loud.
While it is generally clean, nothing is disinfected, especially the toilets. There are no disinfectants available; I recommend disinfecting the bathrooms at least once a day and closing off the kitchen area because the noise carries too much.
The cleaning lady is friendly and does everything, but she only speaks Spanish, so communicating with her wasn't easy.
It’s not her fault as she is "just" the cleaner, but she is the only person working in the hotel and the only one receiving guests.
For guests arriving late at night, it would be useful to send them their codes upon registration or payment, because those who arrive late at night ring the front doorbell thinking there is a 24-hour reception.
There is no sound insulation in the rooms or the hotel; it feels like we are all in one shared space.
The location is okay, although there is nothing you really need in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. You have to go toward the center, which is a maximum 30-minute walk—and that is truly the only good feature of this hotel.
