I cannot recommend this hostel based on my experience.

My friend is visually impaired and does not speak Spanish. He had stayed at this hostel before, but this time he was refused accommodation and left with nowhere to go.

The reason given was that, after taking a shower, he briefly came out without wearing a T shirt. As far as we could see, this is not stated anywhere in the hostel's rules (picture attached). He was told to put on a T shirt or leave the hostel.

We did not cause any disturbance. We simply stayed at reception because the booking had already been paid and we were waiting for a resolution. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the staff called the police.

Even the police officers advised us that it would be better to find another place to stay rather than remain there.

What disappointed me most was the complete lack of empathy and professionalism shown towards a vulnerable guest. Treating a visually impaired traveller this way, especially when he had nowhere else to go, is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage other travellers to choose a different hostel.

Amenities such as free Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen, and organized activities add to the overall value of the stay.

For photographers and urban explorers, the location is a major advantage. Early morning walks to nearby architectural landmarks, lively streets, and historic neighborhoods are effortless from here. While the facilities are simple and designed for travelers rather than luxury seekers, the hostel delivers exactly what many visitors come to Barcelona for: an affordable, social, and centrally located base from which to experience the city.

I spent 20 days at this hostel and it was genuinely the best experience I could have asked for. The staff were outstanding consistently friendly, and truly made me feel welcome.
The location is perfect for exploring the city, yet the area is quiet at night, which is a huge plus. Everything was clean, and most importantly, I felt completely safe the entire time. Highly recommend this place for anyone!

Truly “creative” management — I checked in, left minutes later, didn’t use the bed, and still got charged for the full night.
Zero flexibility, zero empathy. Not exactly the kind of creativity travellers are looking for.

En general muy buena ubicación centrica bastante buena, el personal es bastante amable y educado a pesar que no hablan muy bien español, su servicio es bastante bueno pero por otro lado sus camas parecen piedras y las sabanas muy rústicas, para pasar una o dos noches en cuanto al precio/servicio no está mal pero se pudiese mejorar muchísimo

Es un hostal relativamente pequeño, no cuenta con área para fumadores o se permite ingerir alcohol (no incluso moderadamente), cuenta con cocina comunitaria y aseos suficientes para las personas que alberga, recepción 24h, la ubicación es excelente, si eres el tipo de persona que suele ir al lugar para dormir y tomar una ducha, mientras exploras la ciudad, es un lugar recomendado
