L'ostello si trova a pochi minuti a piedi da Piazza della Catalunya e la Rambla, ci si arriva quindi tranquillamente senza prendere alcun mezzo.
Lo staff dell'ostello molto gentile e disponibile, le camere vengono pulite ogni giorno. In una delle due camere prenotate avevamo anche un frigorifero, comodissimo d'estate!
Unica pecca è che ci è capitata la camera che da sulla strada e per chi ha il sonno leggero questo di notte potrebbe essere un problema, dati gli infissi molto vecchi il rumore arriva senza freni.

We stayed here over New Years which meant the price was kind of expensive for what we received. Room seemed clean although I noticed small stains on my sheets. The sink in the room only had cold water however we pretty much had the shared bathroom to ourselves.|The worst problem was that the balcony door didn't lock, the hostel owner showed us how it locked and seemed to think I was dumb for thinking it didn't lock, but all it took was one good tug (from an average woman like myself) to slide open. Luckily the balcony didn't connect in any way to other rooms and was too high off the ground to be accessible.|The hostel is only ~15 minutes from the main section of Barcelona and ~25 from la sagrada so location is good, especially if you want somewhere a bit quieter.

Buena ubicación, entre la zona moderna y antigua de Barcelona, a la espalda del Arco del Triunfo. Negocio familiar y le falta mejorar un poco en la atención y los servicios.

Posizione centrale, le stanze sono un po' vecchie e i letti scomodi, ma sono spaziose e hanno il climatizzatore e il lavandino in stanza. I bagni sono in comune ma sempre puliti e raramente occupati. La signora alla reception è gentile. Il wifi prende bene. È presente un frigo per mettere al fresco le bevande. C'e l'ascensore.|Ottimo per chi non ha alte pretese e non sta tanto tempo in albergo|

We stayed here for 5 days for the MotoGP as it's convenient for the bus station to the track. We had a major mess around with our flights, so despite them agreeing to let us drop off early, we ended up there at 10:45pm. They were very accommodating.||It's convenient being so central. It's clean. It's spacious. However, it's also tired, has limited space for clothes, and can be noisy at certain times. Also, the air-conditioning is high on a wall and no controller was supplied - so it's as good as not there. The shower is temperamental. And, the TV remote didn't work, but it didn't matter.||It's basic, but fills a purpose. We'd consider it again if returning, as it was somewhere to sleep. If you want more, this is probably not for you.

I stayed 5 nights here this week as it met my budget and location. Its superbly well located and the rooms are clean. The beds comfortable, but the shared bathrooms outside always bothered me. It is much better than other hostels in BCN where I stayed before. The staff is rarely there, but when they are are friendly and helpful. My room faced the street and it was quite noisy. You hear everything happening in the street below. Trash collection at 5 am, loud passer bys etc. But then again the price is worth. At 40 Euros it met my budget and the superb location outdid itself.

Hostal senza troppe pretese a due passi da pl. Catalunya, dalla Cattedrale e comodissima alla metropolitana (Urquinaona e Arc de Triomf). L'abbiamo scelto per il prezzo abbastanza buono e per l'ottima posizione centrale. La camera al sesto piano in cui abbiamo soggiornato è grande, dispone di forno a microonde, climatizzatore, tazze e posate per fare colazione. Il phon è disponibile a richiesta. Abbiamo sentito però la mancanza di qualche comodità in più: televisore e wi-fi non hanno funzionato in maniera ottimale, l'arredamento è piuttosto datato, il bagno è molto stretto, la pulizia è migliorabile, le prese elettriche a disposizione sono pochissime. La cosa che ci ha creato non pochi disagi, viaggiando con bambini, è stata la rottura dell'ascensore, cosa che però non è dipesa dal gestore dell'hostal. In compenso, la signora della reception è stata gentile e disponibile, e ha cercato di alleviare il disagio della situazione che si è venuta a creare permettendoci di riporre il passeggino presso la reception al primo piano.

Good: ||The owners are quite nice and very helpful. The location is great, right near the city center.||Room for improvement: ||The room and furniture are quite outdated and are screaming for renewal. This would really be a great place if rooms would be redecorated, with new(er) furniture. The doors require a new lock system, as the keys don't fit well and as the locks are quite old fashioned they can be easily be opened by other guests. ||The WIFI is unstable and requests you to log-on about every 10 minutes, very annoying.

В хостеле были с 30го декабря по 3 января. Расположение неплохое, от площади Каталунии минут 10 ходьбы. Район нешумный, чистый, рядом кафе и магазины. Сам хостел находится в очень красивом (как и все в Барселоне:)) здании, повсюду лепнина и прелестные балкончики. Мы брали двухместный номер с двумя отдельными кроватями (одной двуспальной нет ни в одном из категорий номеров) с собственной ванной и балконом. Номер большой, ухоженный, удобные кровати, потрясающе удобные подушки! Никогда не думала, что в отзывах об отеле отмечу такую деталь как подушки, но они правда хороши))). Балкончик маленький, зато чтобы на него выйти нужно открыть красивые деревянные раздвижные двери. На балконе стояло два стула, но потом нам принесли столик и пепельницу. Такая забота очень приятна :) |В номере большая ванная с вместительной и не протекающей душевой кабиной, раковиной, унитазом и даже биде. Нет только фена, возможно, есть на ресепшене, но мы не спрашивали. Полотенца меняют каждый (!) день. Не в каждом 5ти- звездочном я встречала такой сервис. |Еще в номере есть маленький телевизор только с испанскими каналами, электрический чайник и чашки. На ресепшене просили ножик, чтобы порезать лайм для текилы)) - без пролем получили его.|Читала до этого в отзывах, что на ресепшене не говорят по-английски. В нашем случае там был мужчина, который отлично говорил и понимал по-английски, также есть русская женщина, но ее мы видели только раз, в наш последний день. Она помогла нам с перегрузом чемодана, дала пакет, в который мы переложили вещи в ручную кладь. Спасибо ей за это! |Кстати, чтобы вы не повторили нашу оплошность: вес чемодана на человека в Испании 23кг, и не имеет значения один у вас чемодан на двоих или каждый со своим. У нас был один с весом 30кг (в России так можно), пришлось разгружать до 23кг. Просто имейте это в виду :)|В общем хостел нам очень понравился. Это был самый дешевый вариант с нашим нынешним бешеным курсом (самый дешевый из полноценных номеров со своей ванной) и с таким хорошим расположением. Рекомендуем.
