I was very disappointed with my stay. The condition of the hostel seems to get worse every time I visit. The air conditioning only works occasionally, making the stay quite uncomfortable. There also appears to be unfair treatment when assigning rooms and beds, especially if you booked online.
To make matters worse, I was woken up in the morning by a trespasser and asked me for money and clothes. That was the final straw.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this hostel.

I cannot recommend this hostel based on my experience.

My friend is visually impaired and does not speak Spanish. He had stayed at this hostel before, but this time he was refused accommodation and left with nowhere to go.

The reason given was that, after taking a shower, he briefly came out without wearing a T shirt. As far as we could see, this is not stated anywhere in the hostel's rules. He was simply told to put on a T shirt or leave the hostel.

What disappointed me most was the complete lack of empathy shown towards a vulnerable guest. Rather than handling the situation with understanding, they chose to remove someone who was visually impaired and had nowhere else to stay.

If you value respectful treatment and compassion, I would think carefully before choosing to stay here.

This place is not great. Charging for even a blanket and a single towel is a negative off the bat. The place also smells, has no running water at the moment and is poorly laid out. The ladies running the place seem sweet enough. Wish I hadn't booked and wouldn't book again.

Muy mala experiencia. Me cancelaron una reservación de 4 noches sin ningún reembolso, solo por no llegar a una hora específica. ¿Desde cuándo en un hostal, que supuestamente funciona 24 horas, te cancelan la reserva y además no te devuelven el dinero por llegar más tarde de lo previsto?

Reservé especialmente la noche del domingo porque llegaba a Barcelona en la madrugada. Sin embargo, mi vuelo se retrasó y terminé llegando alrededor de las 05:00 a. m. Después de un viaje largo y cansado, llegué al hostal y me dijeron que mi reserva estaba cancelada.

Les mostré en la aplicación de Booking que yo nunca cancelé nada y que aparecía como “cancelada por el establecimiento”. Aun así, en recepción me dijeron que “en su sistema” figuraba cancelada de mi parte porque no llegué a la hora indicada inicialmente. Por esa razón cancelaron automáticamente mis 4 noches… y además sin reembolso.

Lo peor fue la falta total de empatía del personal de recepción. Simplemente me dijeron: “Aquí aparece cancelado y sin reembolso”. Y todavía me preguntaron si quería volver a reservar y pagar otra vez ahí mismo.

Realmente pésimo servicio. Entiendo que puedan existir políticas de check-in, pero cancelar toda una reserva de varios días sin ninguna consideración por un retraso de vuelo y dejar al huésped sin alojamiento en la madrugada es completamente inaceptable.

L'emplacement est idéal. Accueil chaleureux et chambre propre.
Néanmoins, les portes des douches ne se ferment pas à clé. Ce qui n'est pas confortable en terme d'intimité. Quelques problèmes au niveau de la cuisine avec un dysfonctionnement d'une lumière et une absence d'eau froide au robinet. Rien de bien grave au final.

We booked a room, they let us see one with a view and so far everything is ok, then the day we come for the stay and the room was no longer that one but another without a view. so it's not good and we don't agree, it doesn't work like that, we book a room and they give us another one. it's okay everything yes, nice, clean but this one doesn't

Booked online. Rooms are clean and comfortable, there is a kitchen you can cook in. Free tea, coffee, and thin tea cookies are available 24/7 in the kitchen. The staff spoke a few langages and can help you with anything you might need. They also have a what'sapp offering events like pub crawls and beach trips. The hostel is in a great location. Can't beat it for the price.

I had to take a cold shower the first night. Thought they must have run out of hot water but it turns out something was broken. A sign was put up overnight and by the next evening the water was fixed. They offered hot showers at a nearby hostel if you needed on in the interm.
