Super emplacement, et la terrasse est parfaite pour se poser entre deux visites ! 🌞 Petite cuisine équipée avec frigo, pratique. Le petit-déj (en supplément) est vraiment bon pour bien démarrer la journée. Chambres climatisées avec rideaux aux lits pour plus d'intimité, sanitaires et douches propres et bien entretenus. Et l'équipe est adorable et super sympa ! On recommande 👍

This hostel is great, my stays here have always been super calm and enjoyable, generally not in peak season.

The hostel is close to Gracia, at the top of Passeig de Gracia, making it easy to get to from the airport or bus/metro. It is in a residential area and for that reason seems a bit more chilled or has been when I have stayed.

It is on the first floor of a building which also has a lift if needed.

The hostel is modern and clean with different types of rooms available, I have stayed in the mixed dorms and female only and have enjoyed each room. Some rooms face onto the streets and have shutters, so the views are lovely and also allows more air into the rooms to circulate.

Each bed comes with a curtain and locker. I've always found the rooms to be less sociable as they are quite compact but ample but there is a lot of space to socialise outside of the rooms which is great. The bathrooms are separate from the rooms and they are clean. They also have a box where people leave their old products and guests can use them, which is a lovely idea.
There are often cleaning staff around, so they are well cleaned.

Reception staff have always been super helpful too.

There is a terrace outside which is excellent and lovely to relax and wind down. Overall this hostel is a great place to stay, a great mix of age ranges too - a good space if you need to get some work done too and they often have activities for guests, although I haven't tried them, as yet but hopefully when I stay again!

Muy feliz de haberme hospedado en este lugar! Lindas instalaciones, bien mantenidas y limpias. Siempre hay personal en la recepción, las habitaciones tienen lockers (yo tenía mi propio candado). Las literas son cómodas, tienen cortinas, enchufe propio y un pequeño espacio para colocar el celular y otras cositas. Los huéspedes eran educados y tranquilos. Tiene desayuno opcional y un espacio común bien amplio. Lo recomiendo!

とてもスタッフには親切にしていただき、居心地はとても良かったです。
6人部屋だったと思います。
静かな部屋で、エアコンもしっかり効いていましたので、寝やすかったです。
調理器具やコップやさら、調味料もありかなり助かりました。シャワールームに自分の服などを置く場所が無く、1日目はお湯が出たけど2日目は水でした。コインランドリーも使おうと思ったら故障していました。
偶々なのかもしれません…
改善のよちはありますが、立地や居心地の良さなどを考えるとお勧め出来ます。

我在这里居住了两晚，体验总体来说值得五颗星。
他们的工作人员非常友好热情，早餐（相比于其他我住过的青旅）已经算是选择比较丰富的了😂公共活动空间也很大很宽敞，而且每个房间有空调，夏季不会太炎热
但对于我而言，也有一些缺点：位置有点难找，而且需要按门铃才能进入，这让后半夜凌晨两点才回到住处的我有点不太好意思打扰工作人员🥲感到有些愧疚。其次就是床铺一翻身会有声响，这也许会影响到一些睡眠质量差的人（但对于我而言这不是问题）。最后我的疑惑是他们提供的被子其实是一张薄薄的床单（我猜这可能是文化差异，也许床单在西班牙也可以当被子盖）但由于我本身就不太喜欢盖被子所以这也其实没有影响到我。
总的来说还是挺棒的，经济实惠，我住的很开心

Terrible experience – Unprofessional, discriminatory, and baseless accusations from staff

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay here was completely ruined by the appalling behavior of a staff member on duty.
On July 23 at around 5:00 PM in the common area, I was dealing with extreme exhaustion after not being able to sleep for three consecutive nights because two roommates were snoring loudly. While I was charging my phone after returning from sightseeing, one of those roommates falsely complained to the staff that someone else was snoring loudly—completely unaware that he was loudly snoring himself.

Out of nowhere, without any evidence or logic (especially since I hadn't slept all night and wasn't even sleeping at the time), that same roommate pointed the finger at me. Even worse, the hostel staff immediately backed him up and claimed, "Yes, it was you," without having been in the room or knowing the facts. Being falsely accused and having my sleep deprivation completely dismissed after enduring days of noise was infuriating.

To top it off, this is not the first time this specific staff member has made me feel unwelcome and offended. Earlier during a conversation with another guest, he openly gossiped about me being from Hong Kong, remarking that another Hong Kong guest was "much more interesting." Staff should maintain basic professional respect and not openly put down residents right in front of them.

This completely ruined my mood and left a bitter taste regarding what had otherwise been a wonderful trip to Barcelona.

Management, please check your staff records for the common area shift on July 23 at 5:00 PM to address this unacceptable behavior. I expect much better from a hospitality team.

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL. They advertise a "Cocktail Class & Pub Crawl" on their official website, but it's a complete scam. Fake staffs/promoters inside the hostel lie about the price, demand extra money via bank transfer, and then completely disappear and ghost you. When I complained to the hostel reception, they just dodged responsibility saying "we know them but they are not our staff and we don't have their contacts" even though it's on their own website. This hostel allows scammers to target paying guests. Absolutely terrible experience.

The cocktail class you booked was provided exactly as advertised, and the discounted price for The Central House guests was applied.

Regarding your concerns, the cocktail class is operated by an external partner. As soon as you raised the issue and management reviewed the situation with them. After investigating the matter, we found that the activity had been delivered as described and that no misleading information had been provided.

We have also received messages stating that negative reviews would be posted across multiple platforms unless a refund was issued. While we fully respect every guest's right to share their experience, we believe reviews should fairly reflect the facts.

We take the experience of our guests very seriously and carefully review all feedback. We remain committed to working only with trusted partners and providing transparent information about all activities offered to our guests.

Friendly staff, very good location, clean but the beds are quite noisy. When the person above you moves an inch the whole bed shakes. If you're sensitive to that, you'll find no sleep.
