Nice and clean, probably the best hostel I ever stayed so far. Great location. I was in 6 shared bed room we had our own shower and toilet. Each bed had it's own locker (you need your own lock) and space for toiletry under the sink. Staff on recepcion 24/7. I really wanted to give this hostel 5 stars review but they did a mistake.... I booked 4 nights, Friday - Tuesday. On Sunday I came to my room and everything was gone, all my stuff, my luggage, every locker open and empty. I came to the recepcion, waited in a line X minutes just to find out that they changed my room without telling me! Noone informed me about this, no information about it when I booked in, no message over booking app, nothing! They broke my lock on my locker (I asked for a new one, they didbn't have any in stock so gave me 10€ instead so I had to go to the city and get a new one myself) and packaged all my clothes into plastic bags and left on reception. I gathed all my stuff, plastic bags and went to my new room to unpack just to find out that they packed the things wrong! Some of my things that I had locked in my locker was in the plastic bags but some were missing and there were random things of other people! So I went to the reception again where I returned things that were not mine and asked for the rest of my stuff. It was in two other plastic bags together with other people's things! As apology they gave me free breakfast for one day.

They don't respond to WhatsApp email or phone calls I have been trying for a month now absolutely horrible customer service. DON NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN BEING!!! 🤬🤬🤬👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

The reception reception team is incompetent. Niko is laughing instead of apologising. They cannot even make a valid key. Total comedy of incompetence. When I asked the name of the manager and his context details 4 people at reception pretended they did not hear me. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Awefull customer service. Instead of finding a solution or apologising for a delay Niko makes a sign like he swipes a fake tear. 1 star review. Never come back. You also have to pay for language storage - for 1 small bag 6Euro

Je ne suis restée qu’une nuit.
Le dortoir était correcte, les parties communes aussi.
En revanche, le lit était si mauvais que je me suis réveillée avec le dos et la cage thoracique complètement bloqué

Although full booking and payment through Agoda from 7-12 May, 2026, I have never had a chance to stay there. I book a combo of hotel + flight. However, my flight was delayed (the connecting one), which led me to arrive 1 day as it should be. They cancelled the booking by themshelves, said them I did not reply their reminding message while I was physically on the plain. Room was cancelled, money was took, they kicked me out as the room all full book and non-refundable. Both Agoda and TOC hostel, none of them wanted to show empathy or act like human while it absolutely not my fault. I did show up and I was not a pilot drive the plane.

Infelizmente, minha experiência no TOC Hostel Barcelona foi bastante negativa.

Além dos constantes problemas no atendimento da recepção, com dificuldade de comunicação, falta de compreensão e situações constrangedoras durante o check-in e suporte ao hóspede, a estrutura do hostel também deixou muito a desejar.

As casas de banho não estavam limpas, o chuveiro apresentava vazamento e as manoplas estavam quebradas e soltas, demonstrando falta de manutenção e cuidado com o espaço.

Como turista, esperava um atendimento mais profissional e um ambiente minimamente confortável, o que infelizmente não encontrei aqui.

Não recomendo.

Nicht zu empfehlen, wenn einem Privatsphäre und Sauberkeit wichtig sind.

Wenn man nicht im Zimmer ist, geht das Hostelpersonal durch die Schränke, um nach Verstößen gegen die Hostelregeln zu suchen, auch wenn die Schränke verschlossen sind. Sollte man dies an der Rezeption melden, bekommt man nur ein „Die Schränke waren schon davor offen“ ins Gesicht gesagt. Trotzdem ist es meiner Auffassung nach etwas fragwürdig, Bilder vom Inhalt der Schränke zu machen, und nicht einmal etwas sauber macht.

Was mich zu meinem nächsten Punkt bringt: Einen Schrank, der 40 cm breit und 1 m hoch ist, mit zwei Bügeln zu versehen und sich dann darüber zu beschweren beziehungsweise die Kaution einzubehalten, weil die Schuhe nicht im Schrank sind, obwohl dort offensichtlich kein Platz ist.

Der Punkt mit den Schuhen war sowohl, wie schon erwähnt, der Grund, warum die Kaution einbehalten wurde, als auch der Grund, warum unsere Sanitärräume nicht gereinigt werden konnten. Das ergibt allerdings keinen Sinn, da sich die Sanitärräume im vorderen Teil des Zimmers befanden und der Wohnbereich im hinteren Teil, wo auch die Schuhe standen.

Im Großen und Ganzen muss man sagen, dass sich das Hostel nicht gelohnt hat, da das Personal sowohl übergriffig in Sachen Privatsphäre als auch nutzlos in Sachen Problemlösung und Eingeständnis von Fehlern war. Jeder Vorwurf wurde entweder heruntergespielt oder als Hirngespinst meinerseits dargestellt.

We booked TOC for 3 nights. During check-in, the reception told us that we have to change room the next morning. But DID NOT inform us that we can't enter the new room until 3pm.

So we had to leave the current room before 11am and have no room until 3pm.

According to the short hair girl in the reception, "Because of a group of people is coming so you have to leave our room for them". And clearly she did not feel sorry about this. It's completely normal for them to cause inconvenience to other guests to empty a room for a group.

No one has said sorry to us because of this situation. (That's the least you could do).

Also the elevator takes ages to come.
