Fine accommodation and house. Unfortunately the owner totally ruined my vacation, by entering the house several times uninvited. Furthermore, he withheld the deposit and I did not get anything back at all. He will count every piece of cutlery, and if something is missing he will withhold all your deposit. The communication with him is terrible, there is no way to argue with him. All in all; a fine house with a nice view. But I do not recommend anyone to go here, because of my terrible experience with the owner.

My recent stay at Hostal Javea was a far cry from the relaxing and enjoyable experience I had hoped for. While the hostel itself had some redeeming qualities, the overall negative atmosphere created by the hostel owner made it impossible to enjoy my stay.

From the moment I checked in, it was evident that the owner had a penchant for turning minor issues into major problems. One of the most frustrating aspects of my stay was the owner's propensity to show up unannounced in an angry mood. It seemed that no detail was too small for him to overlook, as he berated guests for issues as trivial as not keeping the kitchen clean enough. It felt like a never-ending cycle of micromanagement and constant surveillance.

This incessant monitoring and criticism created a hostile and stressful environment for guests. Rather than being able to relax and enjoy the hostel's amenities, I constantly felt on edge, fearing the owner's unwarranted reprimands. It's essential for a hostel to be a welcoming and laid-back place, but in this case, it felt more like a boot camp run by an overbearing commander.

What should have been a vacation turned into a series of uncomfortable and disheartening encounters with the owner. I witnessed other guests experiencing similar frustrations, and it was clear that the negative atmosphere was a common sentiment shared by many.

To end on a more positive note, the physical aspects of the hostel were okay. The location was decent, and the facilities were adequately clean and well-maintained. It's a shame that these positives were overshadowed by the relentless negativity imposed by the owner.

It is a beautiful house with a good swimming pool. I would have given this home a good rating if not for the owner. During our stay, he entered the home unannounced multiple times. He did not comply with our agreements. His house and practice are right next to the location of House Javea so it seems that he was spying on us all the time. Long story short, house is good, owner is not.

Beautiful house with a great view. How ever the owner enters the house at random times without warning. You can hardly speak of privacy. Expect that you will not see much of your deposit back.

Al staat er nog zo mooi beschreven dat dit huis geschikt is voor studentengroepen, vriendengroepen, verenigingen, vrijgezellenfeesten en ga zo maar door, niets is minder waar.
Zo kwam de eigenaar onaangekondigd binnenvallen, en was 1 (!) vies bord op het aanrecht al teveel volgens hem.
Er had beter kunnen staan: huis geschikt voor mensen met smetvrees.
Van privacy was niet te spreken, daarbij is de borg ook iets wat je niet terug zal zien als je hier zal verblijven.
Al met al: een prachtig huis, mooie omgeving, mindere eigenaar.

Owner is a money grubber. The view on Montgo is great though, just don’t expect to get any of your deposit back if even a single remote battery has gone missing.
