Mucho que desear, una cosa es una rural y otra una casa que es un desastre, solo tuvimos problemas aires acondicionado que no funcionan bien, problemas con la piscina y por desgracia eran las fiestas del pueblo conciertos hasta las cinco de la mañana.
Vamos que tiene mucho que desear.

Certainly, this is one of the best Albergues on the Camino Mozárabe.
For €10, you will find comfortable beds with fresh linen and quilts. There are 3 dorms, and 2 bathrooms, heaters for cold days, and a well appointed kitchen.
We did arrive late, missed the 2pm deadline for calling the Ayuntamiento to receive a key - This is sometimes a difficulty for foreign pilgrims who are not comfortable making phone calls or for pilgrims who are not certain about how far they can make it on the day.
Fortunately, when I arrived, another pilgrim was already in the place and opened the door for me. My fellow pilgrim who arrived later and I left the adequate payment in the letter box inside the Albergue.
For some unknown reason, the pilgrim who had initially opened the door to me refused to communicate with us to the point of being quite hostile. I struggled operating the hot plates as well as the microwave in the kitchen (yes, I am slow), and didn’t realise that the place offered a washing machine, etc. Because we had no way to know who to contact in the village to receive a key, we were prevented to go out together at dinner time.
I am extremely thankful to the Villaharta community for providing such comfortable and cheap accommodation to us pilgrims on the Camino Mozárabe. It is a privilege to be welcomed in such a way.
Perhaps a key system such as the one used in the Almería province could be considered to lighten up the responsibility of the Ayuntamiento and provide easier access to the Albergue after hours.
Not all fellow pilgrims are happy to share, smile and generally embrace the Camino spirit, alas.

NOTE: you must call the town hall between 8-14 to reserve your stay. I called the same day and had no problems. The albergue was great, it even has a washing machine and drier! Cost 10 euros
