El mejor hostel en el que he estado, probablemente el mejor de la isla. La ubicación es genial, la terraza increíble, perfecta para tomar un vinito por la noche y ver las estrellas. La anfitriona (creo que se llama Rosa) súper simpática, hizo de nuestra estadía una experiencia muy buena y nos recomendó muchos sitios que ver. Está cerca de la playa del Ámbar, preciosa, cuando fuimos estábamos nosotros solos y las vistas son increíbles. Si vienes a la isla es una visita obligada, no me cansaré de recomendarlo.
La única queja que tengo es no habernos quedado más tiempo. Repetiré seguro :)

Now I’m sitting in the daily bus back to Morgán. Just passed the place of azulejos where we start our hiking day last Friday. The mobile grid will come back and I will upload this review.
You should know blablabla is a calm, super chill place with pretty good conditions to relaxe. Just close to the see, in a nice valley and organized by a tough and sweet caring team! I tooked fresh fruits to blabla cause there is no supermarket reachable by feed. But a cheap bar to eat, just on the other side of the street

Un lugar increíble, muy tranquilo y con una energía brutal,vistas preciosas, está apartado de todas las zonas turísticas pero con coche tienes acceso a cualquier zona. Uno de los mejores cielos estrellados que he visto... y lo mejor ,el personal que lo lleva ,Ross es una mujer muy hospitalaria y siempre con una sonrisa. Tiene una energía muy buena y por consecuencia la gente que atrae en su guesthouse, es como ella. Totalmente recomendable !!

I love this Hostel! The Owners are very friendly and i felt more than welcome. They cared a lot, had good Advices for Hikingtrails or beautiful places. Just perfect for have a relaxed Time and feel good. The Dinner was amazing by the way. I can recommend this Hostel for everybody.

Le propriétaire a changé en Octobre 2020, ce n'est plus une auberge mais une guesthouse. Les gérants sont très gentils, l'établissement est PROPRE, il y a un grand rooftop, internet fonctionne et est rapide. Il n'y a pas de parking mais de la place en face pour se garer le long de la route. Il n'y a cependant pas grand chose à faire aux alentours à part admirer les étoiles et les couchers de soleil le long de la plage de galets. Le lit fait 1,90m, attention aux grandes tailles.

El sitio es espectacular, una de las mejores puestas de sol que he visto con el Teide de fondo. Alejado de la civilización, sin cobertura, aunque con wifi. El trato de Moe excelente, he is the big brother, un lujo si quieres algo fuera de lo común. Repetiremos seguro! 😍

Impresionante Hostel. Anfitriones de verdad, sito tranquilo, lejos del turismo de masas, cerca de rutas de senderismo impresionantes, la Gran Canaria menos ventosa y más soleada. Yo iba a quedarne 2 noches, pero es para estar todos los dias.

Dieses hostel ist einfach nur wunderschön!
Tolle Gäste, toller Gastgeber unglaublich angenehme Ruhe :)

Perfekt um von hier aus mit dem Fahrrad die Insel zu erkunden.
Oder für Menschen wie mich die einfach nur einen Platz zum abschalten gesucht haben.
Fehrn ab von den ganzen Touristen und den großen hotels.

Tipp von mir komm hier nicht her wenn du nicht gelernt hast Zeit mit dir zu verbringen.

I was on site and asked for room. I received info from volunteer staff that for 20EUR per person (in total we were 3) we will receive a separate room, we have to just wait for evening to free up this room.
When we came back at evening, the room was changed to dorm room (OK, I didn't argue). Unfortunatelly they do not follow the rules, loud party was till 1am (10pm start night silence according to they rules), and later a quarell started between the owner and one of guest, they messed up something with reservation. Because of that they interrupted our room with flashlights (were looking for a free bad in the middle of night). This was to much for me! So, because of all this mess (real mess in the guests kitchen) I'm giving so low rating.

By the way, beautiful roof terrace!

We made a reservation 2 months before our arrival date by email. The cost was 35 euros in Hostelworld, when we got there the owner wanted to charge us 70 or 80 euros per night for a double room. The house is nice but the bed quality is not worth 70 euros per night. We had stayed at other hostels for 30 euros a night with better beds and private bathrooms. I've worked in the hotel industry and you would never try to charge 70 or 80 euros for a room in such conditions and without a private bathroom. If you go, make sure to clarify the price beforehand in written.

Very friendly and accommodatng place. It's beautifully tucked away in a valley 5 minutes from the sea. Very well run and relaxed atmosphere make it a good place to wind down.
It's not sterile like corporate environments but if you want a bleached and sterile place go to a beach resort - this is a poke at those who complain about seeing a a breadcrumb.

Lovely spot run by kind and very helpful people. If you'd like to be of the beaten tracks, this may be your choice. Bring some groceries, since the restaurant at the beach closes at five p.m. But the kitchen is well equipped.

Anna, thank you so much for the nice stay. We enjoyed this silent place away from the crowds, if you like some clubs, there are not any. If you are the sort of writer or contemplator you will like it. Crickets at night, the sea is near by, rocky and austere landscape. Fish restaurant at the shore.

The hostel is close to a quiet, rocky beach with a nice fish restaurant. Staff is friendly and helpful and everything is cleaned thoroughly everyday. There is a roof terrace and plenty of space to relax and have some privacy if you want. But there is also place to socialize with other guests, staff and also locals at the nearby bar. The staff often cooks dinner in the evening for everyone who wants and in exchange for a donation you can join them.

There is no nearby cash machine and limited cell phone reception. The nearest shop is a few kilometers away so it is best to come prepared. A few times a day there is a bus going from Puerto de Mogan and Aldea San Nicolas (no.38), after this you might have to walk for a bit, hitchhike or ask for a pick-up. The hostel offers free wifi.

I've stayed in hundreds of hostels and I can definitely say that one of my best experiences I had is at this place. Although I intended to stay for just a few days I ended up spending most of my time on Gran Canaria at Blablabla. If you are looking for something different and want to escape mass tourism than this is the place to be. Thanks everyone who was there for the interesting evenings, the talks and the many chess games.

Totally ripped off !!
I have paid 36£ for a night and this is what I've get for this price...?!
1.Cockroches in a kitchen!
2. All the time occupied bathroom, was only one for at least 8 people!!!
3. Monster spiders was in our room and everywhere!!!
4. Dirty kitchen with licking kettle!
5. Location at the end of the world! One hour away from maspalomas through the mountains on very difficult to drive road!
6. Rude owner been trying force us to move from our bad room to even worse after he get his money!!! When I've disagreed he said that is gonna cancel our booking if I will not "cooperate" !!!
7. Dirt everywhere!!!
For much smaller money we've had apartment on Lanzarote in descent location!! The only good thing I can say about this place is that the volunteer staff working for this rude owner was friendly and a sound of crickets at night was nice, but looking at a whole picture it was disaster! I really don't know who is giving positive feedbacks for this place? Most probably owner and his friends! !! I've spent there 8 nights and all I can say is AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Unless you like all this things I've mentioned!
