Google Family like feeling, host and stuff speak fluently English and are lovely. Clean!
Google Good luck to anyone booking this hostel. After booking this place I had a few questions about getting around the island. The response to all of my questions was essentially ‘google it’. I then began to reply to the messages in the same abrupt tone that I had received. This was subsequently interpreted as rude and my booking was cancelled!

Google This hostel is quite isolated and the beds are somewhat rough. But the isolation was just what we were looking for! What really brings this place to life is the GREAT staff that are very social, helpful and funny! We had a great time at breakfast trading stories on the terrace. The surrounding area is wonderful for hiking and enjoying the quiet mountains. Only setback is the beds. But for the price it is very acceptable. I definitely recommend this hostel. Especially for hikers.
Google We enjoyed our stay at Black Pig Hostel very much! It's a small hostel with a relaxed and wellcoming atmosphare. Situated in a small village in the mountains it's a perfect location for hiking tours in the beautyfull area. As there is a bus connection to the next city, you can also do daytrips to other parts of the island even without a car.

Google We had a great stay there. The house is comfy and clean. The host took good care of us and gave us some advice concerning restaurants and hiking. There are several hiking trails nearby and the landscape is just beautiful. The airport can be reached by bus in less than one hour.
