I had the pleasure of staying at this albergue, and it was an exceptional experience. If you're looking to avoid crowds, meet wonderful and generous hospitaleros and fellow pilgrims, and savor delicious vegetarian cuisine, this place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere was joyful, and the people I met were warm and welcoming. The vegetarian meals were a delightful surprise, and I left with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude. Highly recommended for a unique and enriching pilgrimage experience.

Leggendo le recensioni mi chiedo se sono stata nello stesso posto... eppure sì! Ho trovato carina la zona notte, ma non altro. La parte esterna è molto trasandata, coi divani sporchi. Il ragazzo all'accoglienza gentile certo, ma se mi proponi una struttura a donazione e poi mi chiedi 10€ per dormire, 10€ per la cena è 4 per la colazione, mi sembra ipocrisia! La cena è stata scarsa: peperoni coperti d'aglio e cous cous con verdure bollite. Di pessimo gusto che gli hospitaleros si sedettero a tavola con noi ospiti ma con un bel piatto di spaghetti : condivisione? Boh

If you’re planning to stay in Cacabelos, I highly recommend walking an extra 2 km to get here - this is a truly wonderful little oasis and definitely one of the top experiences I’ve had along the Camino! A lot of people talk about the “Camino spirit” which (sadly) I don’t think I really understood until I came here.

During my experience, every single volunteer was super warm and welcoming the moment I set foot on the property. They were all so approachable and lovely to talk to and you could really see and feel the genuine care they had for each and every pilgrim.

I’m not vegetarian and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious vegetarian dinner, a nice break from the usual pilgrim menus (that sometimes aren’t even filling lol!). The volunteers made sure that we were all full and not going to bed hungry and there was more than plenty to go around (even some leftovers!). Same goes for the breakfast.

I could write forever about how wonderful this place is, but you must come experience it for yourselves! The place is magic 😊

Herberge mit ganz viel Charme in einem ehemaligen Weingut. Gemeinsames vegetarisches Abendessen, was auch für einen Nicht-Vegetarier echt lecker war. Das beste sind die Hospilieros, super nett, ehemalige Pilger, sehr herzlich. Immer wieder.

Dies war mit Abstand der bisherige schönste und erholsame Aufenthalt in einer Herberge auf dem Camino. Super netter Kontakt, ein tolles gemeinsames Abendessen und Gespräche. Der Abschied viel schwer.

This is my highlight of the Camino. Mar and her team are full of light and love. They give you the biggest welcome ever. I have returned a second time just to enjoy Mar's amazing vegetarian cooking and I know I will return again in the future. I can wholeheartedly recommend El Serbal y La Luna, it embodies the Camino spirit and heart.
