Thank you so much for your hospitality last night. What you have created in your space is such a lovely warmth that my only wish is it spreads from one end of El Camino to the other. You made me stop missing home for one beautiful evening and for that this weary pilgrim is extremely thankful. Next time you sit near the rock under your willow tree think of me eh?

To the pilgrims reading this, plan your days to end a night in Trabadelo and spend it with Susi and Fermin. You will not regret it and buen camino!

Casa Susi is a very special place run by wonderful folks who care so much about the Camino and all the pilgrims they offer a place of rest and refuge for the night. We had an absolutely top notch stay with them. I also highly recommend Ellie's World Kitchen just down the road for a top notch meal.

Wat een heerlijke plek!!
Je voelt dat de eigenaren leven voor hun pelgrims! 💛
De slaapzaal is erg ruim en het is fijn dat er enkel lage bedden zijn.
Er is ook voldoende mogelijkheid om te ontspannen in de tuin. Veel fijne plekjes en toegang tot de rivier voor een frisse duik.
Het pelgrimsdiner is samen met de andere 10 pelgrims, en is overheerlijk! Susi kookt met groentjes uit haar eigen moestuin, en met veel liefde. Eén van onze beste maaltijden op de Camino.
Als je de kans hebt om hier te overnachten: doen!

This is a must stay, albergue. Susi and Firmin are a lovely couple who are running a homely casa. You receive a lovely welcoming and everyone is included. The home made food was lovely. It is directly on the camino route.

Wunderschöne Herberge mit ganz viel Herz und Liebe zum Detail. Habe mich dort gestern sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und das Essen hätte aus einem sehr guten Restaurant sei können 👌 Alles von Susi selbstgemacht und teilweise aus dem eigenen Garten. Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis auf dem Camino. Vielen Dank 🙏

Casa Susi is something different… the care, joy and authenticity Susi and Fermin show to each guest is remarkable 🧡 it’s a “must do” experience on the Camino. Warmly recommended. Ps. At the back there is a nice spot to swim in the river so please do that also. Gracias !!

If you are lucky enough to stay at Casa Susi, you will be treated to a stunning albergue, the warmest hospitality, and a heart (and belly) warming dinner. Also went above and beyond for gluten free dietary needs - thank you Susi & Fermin for the most wonderful stay on all of the Camino.

I didn’t have chance to stay with them because of fully-booked. However, the host is so warm that he called me to inform me of a vacancy due to cancellation. Unfortunately, I just booked another place already few minutes ago. Hope that I could come next time and stay with them!
