A pleasant experience overall.

The dormitory rooms and bathrooms are average as far as hostels go. No complaints.

What I enjoyed the most was the pilgrims dinner which served a very good chicken paella as the main course. The host even gave us extra with more wine after we finished our portion.

An absolutely unforgettable Camino experience. The host was incredibly accommodating, kind and fun. The legendary paella dinner was spectacular and the host even sang for us. I was able to do laundry free of charge in a washer and drier (there is only one and it takes some time so if you want to do laundry you will have to arrive early). The beds were uncomfortable, but clean and we found it well worth the incredible atmosphere and many Camino friends we made.

What sets this Albergue different than others is the owner and his brother. Who really do take the time to welcome you, know your name and make you feel appreciated. After a dueling hike from Estella, you come in tired aching and wanting a hot shower. This has it and a nice little patio outside to just relax and prepare for the next day. This place really makes going to extra 8km from Los Arcos to Sansol worth it. The dinner consisting of Paella is definitely worth the extra money. I truly think this is the best Albergue I’ve stayed in so far and I’m extremely grateful I stayed here. Highly recommended…

This place should be filled every night. A very attentive, caring and funny host who also cooks a mean paella brought our group together and warmed us up after a rainy day. Go ahead from Los Arcos and come here.

This was absolutely one of the highlights of my Camino. It's not just the building in the walls and the ceiling that makes these albergues special. It's the owners. Ivan is truly a caring, passionate individual and he works very hard to help the pilgrims feel comfortable and have several good laughs over the evening. The food is fantasticl. The atmosphere is wonderful! I am so glad I added this to my Camino. If you're debating between staying at Los arcos or Sansol, you need to book this albergue. Also, as a fellow guitar player this is a must-stop. He has many guitars and several friends who are around to play. Thank you Ivan for an incredible night of Music, fun, food and fellowship!

너무나 좋은 경험이었습니다. 특히 사장님이 엄청 친절하시고, 귀엽고, 유머러스하세요! 순례길에서 이 알베르게를 갔던건 정말 행운이었어요. 저녁에 다같이 빠에야를 먹고 대화도 나누고, 제가 간 날은 흥많은 스페인 여자분이 유도해주셔서 노래도 함께 불렀어요. 잊지 못할 추억을 만들어주셔서 감사합니다. 4월 12일 기준으로 밤에 조금 추운 것은 참고하세요. 아! 그리고 문어튀김? 오징어 튀김? 인지 모르겠어요. 그 메뉴도 진짜 맛있었어요 따로 시켜드셔보세요!! 귀여운 사장님 행복하세요!

This was honestly the best night I’ve had on the Camino (night 6), and one of the best nights I’ve ever had in my life! The host Ivan was so incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about ‘The Way’ and pilgrimage.
Ivan himself made a huge chicken paella to feed 30 people, which was the nicest paella I’ve ever eaten! Dinner started with a large plate of salad and finished with a crème caramel for dessert, and of course served with vino (wine). Ivan played the guitar and sang for us, and also had many other musical instruments that other pilgrims performed for us as well. Everyone was singing along, a few of us (myself included) danced, and we had a human train going around la mesa area. I met lots of pilgrims here and we shared such an incredible night together! Lights out at 2200 and back on again at 0630. Sleeping was a large room filled with bunk beds, and a shared bathroom with 3 showers and 2 toilets, and another toilet downstairs. I also opted in for breakfast, which was fresh strawberries, toasted baguette with jam, a little muffin, orange juice and tea or coffee. Overall, I 100% recommend walking the little extra from Los Arcos and staying at Albergue Sansol, you will not be disappointed!

Un merveilleux accueil de la part d’Yván ! Pour nous et pour bulma. C’est la première fois que ma chienne est accueillie de cette manière-là. Elle a été autorisée à dormir dans le jardin et a même profité d’un peu de riz de L’excellente paella qu’il nous a servi le soir. La sympathie d’Yván n’est pas feinte, ça se voit qu’il est très heureux de recevoir les pèlerins ! La nuit fut très bonne aussi. Les douches très propres. Merci encore pour cette étape conviviale !
