El Castillo de Moratinos is a small accommodation with only four rooms, which means the facilities are never crowded and there is plenty of space for guests. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
The owner offers complimentary laundry service, which was greatly appreciated. Another pleasant surprise was that drinks in the kitchen and breakfast for the following morning were provided free of charge. These thoughtful touches made us feel very welcome and added great value to the stay.

El Castillo de Moratinos es un alojamiento pequeño con solo cuatro habitaciones, por lo que las instalaciones nunca están saturadas y hay espacio suficiente para todos los huéspedes. Las habitaciones estaban excepcionalmente limpias, cómodas y muy bien cuidadas.
El propietario ofrece servicio de lavandería gratuito, un detalle muy apreciado. Además, las bebidas disponibles en la cocina y el desayuno para la mañana siguiente se ofrecen sin coste adicional, una agradable sorpresa para los huéspedes. Estos pequeños detalles hacen que la estancia sea aún más acogedora y especial.

Non c’è nessun Castello, ma è una soluzione valida.
Per fare il check-in non c’è mai nessuno quindi dovete chiamare quando arrivate, comunque è un bel posto ad un prezzo accettabile, considerato lo squallore della frazione intorno.

After a long day walking the Camino, arriving here felt like finding an oasis in the middle of the journey.
The accommodation was exceptionally comfortable, clean, and peaceful. Every detail seemed thoughtfully prepared for pilgrims who needed rest and recovery after many kilometers on the trail.
What made this place truly special, however, was the warmth of the people. The brothers who run the hostel and restaurant, along with everyone working here, created such a welcoming and caring atmosphere. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made me feel more like a guest in a home than a customer.
The food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and the entire experience reminded me of one of the reasons people fall in love with the Camino: the unexpected generosity and humanity you encounter along the way.
Thank you for providing not only a place to sleep, but also a place to feel restored, encouraged, and cared for. I will remember this stop as one of the highlights of my Camino. 🥰🙏🏻🥰
Highly recommended to every pilgrim passing through Moratinos.

The accommodation was very comfortable, and the host was exceptionally thoughtful. He had already prepared coffee, milk, fruit, and bread, and for us, giving pilgrims the strength to start the day. Which is truly rare and heartwarming.

Es una casa rural de 4 habitaciones con dos baños compartidos. Cuando lo reservé tenía mis dudas pero fue una sorpresa muy agradable. Nos dejaron fruta, zumos, leche, bollos y pudimos hacer café para desayunar. Hay lavadora con jabón y suavizante por lo que pudimos lavar la ropa y colgarla en el patio; en tres horas estaba todo seco. Las habitaciones están bien de tamaño y los baños modernos y funcionales.
Un lugar perfecto para descansar y coger fuerzas para seguir el Camino.

GENIAL! Vamos haciendo El Camino y al llegar nos ofrecieron fruta y zumo frescos. Tambien pudimos lavar ropa y tender. En dos horas ropa limpia y seca. Las habiaciones muy limpias y los baños nuevos. Gracias Esteban por tu acogida. Despues de 30kms andando era lo que necesitabamos.

We stayed in a private double room with shared bath for €36. The owner greeted us so warmly. This place is super clean and includes free breakfast and use of washer. For dinner, we went down the street to Bodega El Castillo restaurant, same owner as hostel. During our two week Camino, this cafe had the best food and service. First of all, they were open for dinner at 6:00, rather than 7 or 8. We had the menu of the day which included an outstanding soup and pork ribs. Not only was the server extremely nice, the price of the dinner was really inexpensive. Highly recommend El Castillo de Moratinos hostel as well as their restaurant.

What a beautiful house. Very quiet. Nice and large rooms. Great sleeping quality. Beautiful bath and am shower.
Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine.
Lovely garden.
The owner extremely nice and helpful.
Wonderful stay one night of the Camino.
