Avoid this place! It is more the junkyard than anything else. Owner is weird guy he will lock your shoes and sticks and you do not accesd to your personal belogings. It is not albergue it is more like junkyard prison!

I came looking for Camino hospitality and left feeling like I was tiptoeing through someone else's house.

José had many rules about using the kitchen and refrigerator, and the atmosphere felt more restrictive than welcoming. That's his prerogative, but it took away from the communal spirit that many pilgrims look forward to.

The albergue also needs more attention. It felt disorganized, and I found what appeared to be mouse droppings in the sleeping room. That alone made it difficult to relax.

Dinner and breakfast were generous in carbohydrates but light on much else.

I understand a donativo depends on volunteers and donations, and I don't expect luxury. I do expect cleanliness, a welcoming atmosphere, and the feeling that pilgrims are guests rather than inconveniences.

Unfortunately, this stop missed the mark for me.

Dette er et enkelt herberge. Fra utsiden kan det se ganske trist ut. Rotete og med ting og tang flytende rundt. Rom, senger, bad og dusj er upåklagelig. Verten er god som gull. En fin opplevelse. Maten som serveres er ok. God, men ikke spesielt mye. Fem stjerner til verten.

Her er du velkommen og trygg. Bra sted.

Albergue tenuto male cortile sporco con tante cose da buttare. Hospitalero poco cortese e cena pessima. Camerata e bagno un po meglio. Peccato

If you truly want to experience the essence of the Camino, just go to this Albergue. It is comfortable, there is a community dinner in the evenings, the Hospitaleros are very kind people and make you really feel at home. Don't forget to reward their efforts with a generous donation, since Donativos depend on those donations.

Mixed feelings about this albergue: yes the voluntario was very nice and dinner was good with sufficient quantity, but there was no hot water for my shower, cleanliness is not a strong point and I was forced to wake up at 6am in the full dorm...

Very kind hospitalero. Very clean and comfortable bunkroom. One of the albergues where you should definitely stop on the Camino if you want to get a sense of what makes it magical.

Łazienki i pokoje czyste, wspólna kolacja. Tylko trochę zimno , malutki grzejnik , który nie daje rady. Za to gospodarz wynagradza ten brak. Opłatą donativo.

E un hostello donativo. non si di pretendere molto la corrente elettrica non è il forte dell Ospitalero.. una stufetta misera x asciugare roba e x scaldare la stanza visto che non c è riscaldamento però lui stacca tutto. Per non parlare della pulizia sia in cucina roba sul tavolo in disordine e sporco e nella stanza. molta polvere sotto i letti. pessimo..la prossima volta in piazza c e un altro alberghe . 15 euro si va li meglio
