Hace 10 años que me alojé en este albergue .
Paseando sola al atardecer por los alrededores , paseé por un bosque de bambú impresionante e inesperado.
Parecía que estaba en otro lugar por el contraste tan grande con el resto del paisaje.
El bambú estaba muy crecido y daba bastante penumbra , que agrandó mi sensación de soledad.
el viento sonaba entre las cañas que se agitaban con fuerza , antes de la tormenta que presencié de vuelta.
Me gustaría saber si aún existe ese bosque de bambú , que recuerdo como algo mágico de ese lugar y momento.
Espero que Sonia, pueda responderme a esa duda.

5€ a night. Cheaper than that is only on the street. Consider that before posting a review. For that price I’ve got a roof above my head, a bed, toilets, warm showers, microwave, spare clothing and above all the care and interest of the cheerful host that runs the place. That being said, it was hard contacting the host. Her number is on Gronze website and she uses only landline phone. A bit of a hassle when it comes to international calls which can cost a lot if you’re unprepared.

Sonia, su simpatía y atención, un 10. Limpieza y comodidad. A la gente que se queja... Cuánto más podrás pedirle a €5? El albergue es todo lo que necesitás: cama, ducha caliente y espacio para alimentarte y seguir camino.
Lo que me resultó llamativo es que el agua de grifo no sea potable. Hay cartelería informándolo. Igual la usé para cocinar, sin efectos secundarios 🤭

A good hostel in a small, beautiful settlement. There are no shops nearby. Otherwise, everything you need is there! A warm shower, a common room, a kitchenette with a microwave and sink, and, of course, beds. Everything is very clean. Sonia is there within a few moments when you call her.

Regarding the previous reviewer, and because I've read some pretty terrible reviews of pilgrim hostels here: there are some really great inventions these days, such as pocket knives or lightweight sleeping bags that you can take with you on a hike. There are also hotels that provide bed linen. But beware: you might pay more than €5 there! I don't think birds pay attention to where their droppings land, but you can take a cloth and clean the bench you sit on yourself. Or you can stay home and make yourself comfortable!

Negative things are:

no bed sheets: You sleep on the bare plastic mattress and pillow if you didnt bring the thin disposable bed sheets from another albergue.

In the kitchen there is only 1 metal fork and 1 metal spoon. Not even 1 knife.

On one of the wooden tables outside is a lot of bird shit.

The albergue advertises to take a taxi to the next albergue: That is against the spirit of the camino!!

Albergue muito típico do caminho de Santiago. As condições são mais que suficientes para o verdadeiro peregrino. Se vem fazer turismo de peregrinação, este não é o lugar para si, siga para outro. A hospitaleira é muito simpática e faz bem o seu dever. Tivemos um pequeno mal entendido que se resolveu muito bem. Sebrayo é uma terra muito bonita. Estou muito grato por tudo 🌹
