One of my favourite albergues on the Camino. Great food: delicious vegetable soup, chicken with fries, a fresh salad from the garden, and a lovely dessert. The host was incredibly friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Un lugar agradable donde descansar, cenar bien y recuperar fuerzas durante el camino del norte. La habitación 75€ genial. Los dueños de la casa amables y divertidos. Y la cena super recomendable... Muy buena. Gracias por acogernos así. Ahhh...y las vistas desde aquí preciosas.

Estuvimos hace unos días, el lugar es muy hermoso y sus propietarios sumamente amables y cercanos lo que hace que te encuentres como en casa.
Por cierto la crema de verduras que tomamos en la cena, excelente.

This has been my favorite albergue so far on the Camino. The location is perfect, the views are amazing, and the house itself is beautiful and full of character. Even the dorm rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully maintained.

What really makes this place special is the owner. He creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that you immediately feel at home. They also have lovely private rooms and serve a very good dinner. I would highly recommend staying here—it's a truly special place.

Highly recommend when walking the Camino del Norte! I'm now 2 weeks in and it's still one of the best sleeps I've had along the trail. The views and garden space to relax in are so tranquil. The dinner shared with other pilgrims is so tasty and filling. Delicious!
And what really made this place stand out beyond these things are the friendly hosts, you can tell love and care go into everything they do there. Thank you for my stay, for the food and warmth, if you haven't heard it recently you're doing an amazing job!

Beautiful setting, not far from the village. We had a two bedroom casita with kitchen and sitting area. Beautifully furnished, so clean. The hosts were wonderful. Very relaxed, great evening meal option plus you are able to buy drinks and enjoy in the garden. Perfect stop after a long day on the Camino.

Si tenéis que parar en Markina durante vuestro camino del Norte, es aquí. El trato de los dueños es genial, tuve varios problemas con mi móvil porque se mojó y estuvieron súper pendientes, ofreciéndome secador e incluso arroz 🤣 También acabé con el tobillo algo hinchado y tres cuartos de lo mismo, me prestaro una placa de hielo. Se nota que cuidan del peregrino desde el corazón y llevan muchos años haciendo esto. Idoia, muchas gracias, me llevo un gran recuerdo del albergue y de vuestra calidez! ❤️

Insane how they ripped off multiple people by asking for more money later.

They are extremely money hungry and pressured multiple people to pay them 30 cents in payments of 40+ euros.

The dinner was ok for 16 euros but the wine was cheap, overall the owner didnt deserve my money for how he treated people.
He also avoids taxes by forcing people to pay with cash.

Un trato muy cercano y familiar, en un entorno magnífico, después de una etapa del camino del norte. Pudimos disfrutar de una tarde de hermanamiento de peregrinos y una cena casera muy reconstituyente.
