Stayed here while we were walking the Camino Via De La Plata. One of the nicest Albergues so far. We got a room with two beds. Very modern. Incredible view. Kitchen area with a fridge, vending machine, toaster oven, microwave, and coffee machine. Huge dining area and patio (very nice view once again. Recommend watching the sunset). Ended up staying an extra night because we needed a rest day. Alcuéscar is a quiet, cute town. If you are walking the Camino like us and have the time, check out Iglesia de Santa Lucía del Trampal. It is a Visigothic monastic church just 3km outside of town.

Un rincón acogedor en el corazón de Extremadura

Mi paso por el albergue en Alcuéscar fue una experiencia realmente gratificante. Desde el primer momento, el ambiente cálido y familiar del lugar me hizo sentir como en casa. Las instalaciones son sencillas pero muy cuidadas, limpias y con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda.

El entorno es tranquilo, ideal para descansar y desconectar, y la ubicación es perfecta para quienes recorren el Camino de Santiago o simplemente desean explorar esta encantadora zona de Extremadura. El personal fue amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, lo que marcó una gran diferencia.

Sin duda, un lugar al que volvería con gusto. Muy recomendable para quienes valoran la hospitalidad auténtica y el trato cercano.

This is a great albergue, clean and modern located overlooking the bull ring at the far end of town.
Their service is exceptional. My wife had a very painful experience with a kidney stone. Jorge stepped up and guided us through it so nicely. He called the ambulance and doctor. Then he drove me to the pharmacy to get the prescription. Then he moved us into a private room which made it so much easier.
By the next morning, my wife was recovered and ready to resume the Camino.
