I arrived to this location around 3PM on 13th of March 2025 and I meant to stay in a male only dormitory. When I called Javi (landlord) to check in he didn’t provide me any details or information where I will be staying, he promised me on phone he will come to help me with this, which never happened! I am here for a work-holiday, therefore I left the property around 4:30PM. I got back to the property around 7PM and called Javi again and this time he said and blamed Booking.com for overselling accommodation, which meant that I didn’t have an allocated bed or any sorts of place to stay. This got me so frustrated and insecure because I meant to work and stay here until 17th of March. He said Booking.com meant to call me, but this call has never happened and he neither provided me with a temporary place to stay. If I didn’t have friends who help me being accommodated I would have ended up on the streets or had to make urgent changes such as travelling back with the first possible flight! No service or whatsoever, the property can be accessed by anyone even without bookings, and there is no a safe place where you can lock your valuables away. I am in a dispute with the landlords to demand my money back since I was refused by them to stay!

I arrived to this property on the 13th of March 2025 and I meant to stay here until the 17th March 2025 in a shared male dormitory.|When I called Javi (landlord) for allocating my bed he promised he will come out to help with that, which has not happened until 4:30PM when I needed to leave the property for work locally. I arrived back at the property around 7PM when I called him again, and he claimed by an error Booking.com and other platforms oversold the accommodation and they need to find me a new place to stay. During my conversation with Javi another tenant called Alex expressed that he is in the same situation as me, and he has been left stranded without a place or temporary solution. Without a bed, a place to shower and eat I had to make a quick decision, since I have work commitments that I must fulfil. If I didn’t have friends who could help me to accommodate me I would had been left stranded on the streets and not knowing where I would stay for another 3-4 days. The accommodation does not offer refunds or compensation for all the inconvenience I have experienced. Knowing I wasn’t the only tenant there with this issue even made me think it’s an ongoing issue and Javi just don’t care for his tenants. Let alone your valuables can’t be locked away.

There are no hosts to meet and greet you ,i had to pick any bed that was available. Luckily, there were a few , i would never stay there again. There was rubbish down the side of my bed, and the cleaner didn't clean the rooms. Just empty the bin, there are no safety lockers in my room with 8 sharing a man had 2 caps stolen, and a woman had money stolen when i was there just for 1 week the people who are staying there are long stays and they just lie around on the sofas all day with there dirty feet on the cushions its not a good place to stay your better off spending a little more and get somewhere more comfortable, there is only 2 bathroom's between about 20 people its ridiculous, there's no curtains on the bunkbeds no microwave if i could give a zero i definitely would have ,it's a private hostel and the guy just don't care about his guests its all about the MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!

I had such a bad experience at this hostel. Firstly, on arrival I had booked a bed in a four-bedroom male dormitory. This didn't exist as the owner had moved a female, long-term resident, into the four-bedroom dormitory and was actively encouraging me to stay in an eight or ten bedroom mixed dormitory. I was not having any of it and stood my ground to share with the female who, he seemingly wanted in the four bedroom dormitory, on her own. He offered me to leave if I didn't like it. Not a great start!!!||The bed linen is thin and old, and the dormitories very cramped. THERE IS NO SECURITY IN THIS PLACE AT ALL. No lockers to lock valuables away so one has to sleep with them under your pillow or in the bed.|| There are two toilets with broken flush systems, for 22 people to share. ||Generally the place was very clean for quite a few hours but some residents would then make it look like a pigsty. ||One evening we ran out of toilet paper in all bathrooms and kitchen roll, and the owner, Javi had to be sent for. The outside areas are very worn and not pleasant to sit in. The older solo travellers at this hostel were terrific the younger ones slightly cliquey. I had food and drinks stolen from the fridge. In my opinion, the kitchen wasn't fit to cook in. There is no microwave or coffee machine as stated on the specs at Booking .com. It is exceptionally reasonably priced, but I would still advise avoiding this place at all costs.

This place is an absolute disgrace! First of all, I booked a bed, in a four-bedroom male dormitory, which didn't exist, because the owner had decided to put a female occupant into the room and tried to keep it solely for her! She completely took over the room. He tried to put me into an eight or ten bedroom mixed dormitory but I was having none of it. He told me if I didn't like it I could leave. However I got my way.||A main issue with this place is security. THERE ARE NO LOCKERS WHATSOEVER IN THIS PLACE FOR VALUABLES. You have to sleep with your valuables passport etc under your pillow or in the bed as there is no safe place to keep them. The bed linen is thin and old. There are two bathrooms for the use of 22 people and both toilets are broken slightly. The outside spaces have not been well maintained and Javi, the owner doesn't care about your safety, or well-being Long Beach Surf House. The areas after lunchtime are spotlessly clean but managed to look a disgrace every morning. I had food stolen from the fridge and drinks stolen from the fridge. The kitchen also has no microwave. There are still rooms advertised as a four bedroom male dormitory on the booking.com site but I would advise you to stay clear of this place and give it an extremely wide berth. ||One afternoon and evening we had to send for the owner because there was no toilet roll or kitchen roll anywhere to be found in the establishment. ||Hostels depend on the people who stay there. The older generation of Solo travellers were terrific, some of the youngsters slightly cliquey and a nightmare. I had wondered why they were no reviews on TripAdvisor for this after staying there I decided I needed to be the first and speak the truth!

Ci avevano promesso un letto ma al momento dell'arrivo non era disponibile. Dei ragazzi all'interno che fumavano ci hanno detto che c'era un posto libero vicino a loro sul divano. Ce ne siamo andati, abbiamo chiesto il rimborso a booking, ma il proprietario non l'ha mai accettato e quando lo abbiamo chiamato è stato scortese.

ATTENZIONE! DANGER!

Avevamo prenotato due posti letto, siamo arrivati e abbiamo trovato 3 ragazzi seduti sul divano che fumavano cannabis con i piedi sul tavolo in teoria comune, sopra il tavolo c'era cibo e bevande che stavano probabilmente li da giorni. abbiamo chiesto a questi ragazzi a chi dovevamo rivolgersi per il ceck-in e per l'assegnazione del letto ci risponde "ma guarda questo ostello è mezzo autogestito vedi se trovi un letto sotto nel seminterrato se i letti non ci sono potete se rimane un posto stare sul divano con noi". Già qui la situazione era assurda andiamo a vedere nel "dormitorio" praticamente senza finestre e troviamo tutte persone ammassate come animali o forse peggio ed ovviamente neanche a parlare di lenzuola e coperte pulite! Credevamo che il peggio fosse finito invece andiamo nella cucina e troviamo nel frigo cibo che era la da settimane c'era una puzza simile a un bagno pubblico e abbiamo trovato formiche su tutto il banco da cucina con resti di cibo sparsi.
Sul frigorifero troviamo un numero di telefono con la scritta "volontario" lo chiamiamo e questo ragazzo ci dice di vedere nella struttura abbandonata affianco alla struttura sulla quale abbiamo fatto la prenotazione se ci fosse un altro DIVANO per poter dormire. In tutto questo stavamo cercando di parlare con il proprietario che ci risponde lui stesso che la situazione non poteva andare avanti in questo modo che era un disastro totale...gli diciamo che ce ne eravamo accorti e che avremmo fatto richiesta di rimborso perché non avremmo alloggiato li.
Dopo tutto questo abbiamo deciso di comprare la notte stessa un altro alloggio con il rischio di dormire anche in macchina la prima notte. arriviamo in un posto perfetto ma questo non è importante.
Ci godiamo la vacanza e al ritorno in Italia richiamiamo il proprietario che ci insulta con parole pesanti e minacciandoci che se fossimo stati ancora a Fuerteventura ci avrebbe fatto vedere lui e ovviamente ci ha detto NON VI RIDARÒ MAI I SOLDI!

This was a terrible place to stay. We were promised a private room with a double bed, but when we arrived, there was a woman lying on a bunk bed in the room. The hostel owner asked her by phone to move, and she just left – we never received clean bedding or the promised bed.

Additionally, the residents smoke cannabis inside, and the music is extremely loud, sometimes until morning, making the whole place reek. The shared fridge is full of abandoned, rotting food, and no one seems to take care of it.

Only long-term residents are allowed to use the washing machine, and the pool, where people rinse their wetsuits, is disgusting. The tables and dishes are always greasy and dirty since there’s no dishwasher. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance of this place are severely lacking.

One of the worst surf hostels on canaries. Very dirty, people smoking everywhere, dishes are always dirty and need to be cleaned before usage. No dishwashers, laundry is only for special guests. As a private twin they have a room with double deck bed… Yes, fridges are totally chaotic and stink. so if you can avoid this hostel - do it

el peor sitio que pude haber reservado, nada que ver con las fotos, no es seguro, entra al sitio y sale quien quiere, esta la puerta siempre abierta, tuvimos que esperar dos horas para saber si había camas disponibles o no, no hay nadie quien pueda guiarte o recibirte, hay voluntarios que no están nunca ni cogen las llamadas y un dueño que dirige un hostal solo por teléfono, todo esta desordenado, la ropa de los otros huéspedes tirada por ahi, son poco amables, bordes y escandalosos, no hay sitio para tender la ropa, dejan los sofas exteriores mojados y las sabanas huelen ASQUEROSO, se que por el precio no se puede pedir mucho pero promete maravillas cuando no merece para nada la pena, DINERO A LA BASURA!

Something awful. Upon arrival my bed was not ready. I had to extract every piece of information from the attendant. There was no introduction. Room 'C' smelled like old socks. It's a miracle I didn't get bedbugs or lices. I was always afraid of being robbed by the people hanging out there, so I always kept my items in my car. I contacted Booking.com for a refund for this reservation.

Upon arrival my bed was not ready had to call multiple times and wait 5 hours before check in. The day after a couple had to sleep on the couch in the kitchen because of so called dubble bookings.. stayed here 5 days same thing every day.
Don't book this place it is not reliable you will end up on the streets after a long travel day having to pay double.Owner doesn't seem to care at all.Read the other reviews save yourself the headache.

Despite the bad reviews, this place is actually a great find. I didn’t know what to expect upon arrival but was pleasantly greeted by a friendly owner and welcoming roommates! Incredibly accommodating owner as it was a girls birthday and he cooked us all paella and a bbq! Great hostel with easy access to beaches and shops/centre! I recommend highly

It was a very horrible experience. We booked this hostel by booking dot com. We arrived and lived here 1 week when owner came and informed us that price is not correct and we need to pay extra 400€ plus for our price directly for him. ☹️Our holidays was a very stressful and disaster. Around this place there are many nice accommodations with normal owners..Never again.

Booked on a well known website just be be told 30 mins before my check in they didn't have a bed for me!
As a lone female traveller this put me in a potential dangerous position! Everything else was booked up I had to finish my vacation early 👎🏼 they have many reviews with the same complaints on other websites! Save yourself the time and hassle book something else!!
