The Albergue was excellent, the beds comfortable, there was a great place on the roof to dry washing and chill and they even had hot water for the washing. People will mark this place down for the slow check in, but the people are volunteers and some pilgrims are not patient. Get here early, relax and enjoy Vigo!

DO NOT STAY HERE !!!! I am a seasoned traveller and have stayed in many hostels as well as albergues along the Camino, as well as having worked in numerous hotels and hostels for 8+ years.

This is THE WORST place I have ever stayed. Don’t cheap out and stay here just because it is 10€. It is not worth it. There are plenty of other hostels and albergues in Vigo for 15€-20€.

Jesus is a character to say the least, did not communicate that the doors are LOCKED at 10pm and you cannot enter or exit until I believe 7am. If your idea of a pilgrim experience is jail, maybe this is for you.

He didn’t communicate this, but luckily my friend was at the hostel and called me to come back urgently. So I took an uber as fast as I could and got to the hostel by 10:07pm, and the only reason he was still there is because my friend was begging him to wait.

He said I disrespect his time, which is funny coming from someone who takes minimum 25min per guest check in and has you waiting nearly an hour to get in the doors.

There are just so many more logical protocols that could be put in place for this place. Like any kind of standard check in system that literally all other albergues and hostels have, not just typing in your full address on his phone.

Don’t even get me started on the craziest most confusing wifi set up I have ever seen.

On top of all of this, 10pm lock in was quite literally never communicated to us and he started freaking out when I said that.

Just a ridiculous place all in all and very upset that i don’t get to enjoy Vigo or have dinner at the very least.

Not having cutlery in the kitchen is just bizarre as well.

All in all, avoid this place at all costs.

I hope this helps someone avoid pilgrim jail 😂😂😂

Die Albergue ist sauber und modern. Leider muss ich für die schlechten, quietschenden Betten Sterne abziehen. Das war in der Nacht ein extremes Quietschekonzert. Auch den Witz mit der Küche verstehe ich nicht. Es gibt einen Herd und eine Abzustaube, aber keine Teller, Töpfe und noch nicht einmal ein Becher oder eine Gabel. Was soll der Quatsch ? Sind wie bei versteckte Kammera ? Wozu dann die Herdplatten und die Abzugshaube ?

Albergue público de la Xunta por 10€ la noche, relativamente moderno, con muy buenas duchas, pequeña azotea con césped artificial, sábanas reutilizables (bajera y funda de almohada).

No ofrecen mantas, ni cubiertos o utensilios de cocina, ni posibilidad de envío/recogida de la mochila con el servicio público de Correos.

L'ostello era pulito (non proprio quando siamo usciti al mattino) e ordinato buona posizione, un bel terrazzo assolato con più stendini che ha spinto molti a fare il bucato un po' sulle sue l'ospitaliro ma ho notato disponibile a dare informazioni e indicazioni. Al wifi ci abbiamo rinunciato. Preoccupati al nostro arrivo per la zona che si percorre per raggiungerlo arrivando dal cammino, ma 50 m. oltre verso la cattedrale c'è la movida e il le vie del lusso di Vigo.
