Me gustó mucho este albergue. Estaba todo muy limpio y cuidado, y la habitación era muy cómoda para descansar después de caminar.
Es verdad que, al no haber nadie en recepción, la llegada se me hizo un poco fría. Me gusta cuando te reciben con una sonrisa o puedes preguntar cualquier cosa al llegar, y aquí eché un poco de menos ese trato más cercano.
Pero, dejando eso a un lado, estuve muy a gusto. Todo estaba impecable, bien organizado y fue un sitio perfecto para recuperar fuerzas. Sin duda, volvería.

Ganz modern, sauber bertwäsche und handtuch ist mit bei... aber alles online... da sollte man fit drinne sein, ich bin es leider nicht, aber trotzdem geschafft :)

It's not good.

HOWEVER, the reviews here make it seem like you'll be checking in to hell. It's really not that bad.

Yes, it is essentially an office building. The electric locks beep and light up, waking everyone up. The AC turns off in the middle of the night (the worst possible time). There is no soul whatsoever. You have to make your own bed. Headlights from cars shine through the windows. It's all pretty shit.

But it's survivable. I chose it as a kind of masochistic challenge, but disappointingly I slept great, no bedbugs, no mosquitoes, everything was clean and worked exactly as intended.

It's how I'd imagine a far-future dystopian industrial workers colony on the moon

De las peores hostel!!! Me sentí intimidado hasta miedo, llegué a las 11:30 pm cansado, me quedé dormido con una prenda que me generó picazón y además con dolor de estómago , me desperté a las 2:00 de la mañana y el edificio tiene un ECO TREMENDO!! Salí con mi ropa para cambiarme en el baño porq en la habitación cualquier movimiento es el triple de ruido por el eco y como estában durmiendo no podía hacer ruido, al salir me metí a los aseos a cambiarme e utilizar el water, a los 15min se escucha unos ruidos y inmediatamente unos pasos de alguien que va hacia los aseos, se abre fuerte la puerta de los aseos, utiliza el grifo se queda 2 a 3 min y se va, termino de cambiarme porq me asusto como abrio la puerta , salgo para ver qué pasó o quién era, y como vi la puerta abierta porq esta persona al parecer un palo que estaba ahí lo puso para que esta no se cerrara, pero la cierro para evitar que los ruidos se escuchen a las habitaciones porq claramente ya iba a utilizar el inodoro, al cerrarlo y meterme al cubículo nuevamente se escuchan los pasos de esta persona pero mas fuerte y se escucha un RUIDO fuerte pero fuerte al momento que abre la puerta, está persona utilizó el grifo y se fue, yo asustado porq jamás en ningún hostel me ha pasado estos actos y creí que algo pasaba, me apure para salir del cubículo y de los baños, porq me asustó esa reacción de esta persona!! Al salir del cubículo me percato que la puerta está persona lo recontra ajusto con el mismo palo que se encontraba ahí, entonces con esa acción me di cuenta que el no quería que la puerta se cerrara, Cuando esa puerta cuando llegue al hostel la ví cerrada , y cuando me desperté para ir al
Baño también estaba cerrada!!! Sali de los aseos asustado y me metí rápido a la habitación porq como adentro había gente me sentía más tranquilo, y contaba las horas para irme !!!!!! Totalmente de terror!!!!!!!!!!

Prezzo piuttosto caro è molto fuori mano, la presenza penso di un custode molto poco simpatico e disponibile, acqua fredda per le docce, mancava persino la carta igienica. L'assistenza telefonica è stata gentilissima. Manca una sala dove potersi con le altre persone visto che si condivide anche la stanza.

El peor hostal en el que he estado en mi vida. Hace 15 días me encontraba haciendo el camino de Santiago y antes de llegar a este sitio estuve hospedándome en distintos albergues ya sea municipales o privados.
Si estás leyendo esto,estás haciendo el camino de Santiago y vas a hacer parada en Vigo, NO te quedes aquí, es caro (para lo que es), sin alma, parece que estás en una cárcel, las ventanas no abren, el aire se vicia y por si fuera poco hay un “horario” para el aire acondicionado, hasta miedo te da ir al baño. Y ya como último dato curioso, NO hay agua caliente en las regaderas.
Cuando entras en la noche parece un motel, 😂 eso ya solo me dió risa.🤣
No me parece un sitio en lo absoluto seguro, si eres mujer que viaja sola ( no lo hagas), me sentí muy insegura.
Recomendación:
por favor hospédate en el Albergue municipal de la xunta de Galicia , es muy agradable ( hasta parece privado) las instalaciones nuevas, limpias, es lindo el lugar, tiene áreas comunes muy bonitas, cocina, lavadora y el por el módico precio de 10 euros.

Whatever hospitality means, this is the opposite… at an expensive rate. I’ve been staying in hostels my entire life, this has got to be one of the worst. If you are into mental asylums or prisons, this is your go to hostel. No staff at all, you get a code and go inside this building, which is in a street on the top of the hill. The rooms are painted in grey and the little blanket you get is orange. Another horror story: No hot water! I stayed at the municipal albergue and boy was that nice! Avoid this one if you can 😂

Inicio del Camino Portugués desde Vigo grupo scout:
Primera noche antes de iniciar el Camino de Santiago, teniamos 3 habitaciones para 18 personas.
Las habitaciones eran muy espaciosas y con suficiente espacio para el almacenaje de las mochilas y para poder moverse. Buen servicio en la limpieza, pues teniamos sábanas y mantas por cada cama en el momento de entrar a la habitación. Con enchufe para todos.
Le falta tal vez una zona común y cocina básica, para la gente que no es su primera etapa... Pero para la primera noche está bien.

One star goes to the reception lady that tried to be helpful and accommodating, however one swallow doesn't make a summer. The rest of reviews are honest, I wish I would have read them before booking a few days before my trip. There is also a disturbed lady with dementia that apparently lives in the hostel permanently, she tried to help me, as the reception was empty, but ended up creeping the hell out of me with her aggressive talk. Although I feel for her, I think a health facility would be a more appropriate place for a person with a condition.

Don’t do it, if you can avoid it at all!!!
Unsafe for solo travelers!!!

You’ll be sharing rooms with strangers (ok fine) in a building without staff (not fine)!

in a kinda dodgy part of town (ok though).

But it’s not really a hostel, it’s just a money making scheme. They put thin walls, creaky bunks and beeping automated locks in an office building with coldish water and call it a hostel.
The water is too cold for showers (have fun in winter), but too warm to drink. No drinking water station. No kitchen. No common area.
No reception! No human staff at all (- except for the cleaning person in the morning around check out time, who is friendly).
They do everything else online. Ok fine?

…But you’ll sharing a room with strangers, in a building without any kind of staff or security or anything at all.

They accommodate nighttime arrivals (thank you, person at the hotline!), which is very nice when you’re the night time arrival - and really annoying for everyone else. Again. A strangers might arrive in your room during the night. And You hear them arriving, from anywhere in the building, thanks to the air vents and thin walls.
It’s either too hot without air (haha no, you can’t open a window if you’re lucky enough to have one in your cubicle… uh room) or loud a/c, but the choice isnt yours.

Again: no Staff at The Location at all. You have to check in online and they send you codes for the locks a little later.
No reception. No chill area. No nothing.

The wildest thing? You can carry your luggage up the stairs.
There’s an elevator. But it needs a code, too. And you only get the code if you buy parking for a car.

The whole place is a shame. 28/30€ a night and the best thing i can say is: no bedbugs.
