It was good at first with the wifi working and the electricity but when I had to leave the electricity cut out so I couldnt have a hot shower. I've given the location 1 star because the view was amazing but you have to hike up a massive hill to get to it and the Ubers kept getting lost due to the sat nav information. I went on a Mount Teide tour and had to 3 miles to get picked up..I booked it because it was cheap. The Taco night was nice but I left a day early as I have an early flight and it's too far from the airport. Public transport isn't good on that side of the island.

i can really recommend everything about this hostel even though i stayed there at a very chaotic time. everything was still under construction. but the staff was making up for that, even the construction workers were very nice. especially maya and marcia manage everything gracefully and make your stay there worth remembering.

the location is a bit off the beat but there's still a nice swimming/snorkelling location a short walk down the hill, the (gorgeous and courageous) surf teacher carlos takes you to the best beaches by car and you can get everywhere else easily by bus.

the weather is almost always perfect (not much calima), the food is mostly vegan, there's lots of cute cats and whether you want to party or chill or do sports, you will find fulfillment there.

Un lugar mágico para desconectar y conectar con la naturaleza. Se respira mucha paz y una energía muy bonita en todo el camping.
Lo más especial es la gente y el ambiente de compartir, las conversaciones, las sonrisas y esa sensación de comunidad tan auténtica. Los voluntarios son excelentes, súper amables, atentos y con una vibra preciosa, te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer momento.
Nos alojamos en el glamping y fue una experiencia increíble: súper cómodo, nada de frío ni calor, silencio total, solo paz y naturaleza. Dormir allí, despertar con el aire fresco y sentir la tierra y el mar cerca es un lujo simple que llena el alma.
Sin duda, un sitio para repetir y recomendar 💚🌿🌊

I had an amazing stay at the Tree House Hostel. The free yoga classes with a view of the sea were super nice— I really enjoyed those moments.

The camp is a bit isolated, but they organize two free shuttle services per day, and you can also easily ask other guests for a ride.

Ho soggiornato per 7 notti. L'ambiente è veramente bello e suggestivo. Ha una vista mozzafiato. L'esperienza è però diventa unica grazie al personale coinvolgente e mega socievole,in particolare Jamie, un tornado, ho fatto con lei il nio primo yoga, eccellente.
Luogo consigliatissimo, ci tornerei assolutamente

The staff and especially Jamie- the yoga teacher made our stay so unforgettable😍 full of energy and good times! Her sunrise yoga is a must! And of course Manuela in the reception was so helpful! Very grateful for the memories ❤️❤️

Bellissima esperienza al Tree House Surf camp ♥️ io e una mia amica abbiamo erroneamente prenotato in due ostelli diversi con lo stesso nome, e lo staff del Tree house ci ha dato una gran mano per trovare un posto letto per entrambe nel Surf camp (mitica Manuela 🫶🏻) e avendoli visti entrambi, rispetto al coworking tree house questo è più piccolo e “genuino”, e per i miei gusti l’atmosfera è più intima e amichevole 😌
La struttura però è ancora un work in progress quindi a livello di comodità ci sono diversi lavori da fare, ma niente di grave: la bellezza del posto la fanno sempre le persone✨
shout out to Jamie per le lezioni di yoga favolose e la sua energia🔥
e ai volontari che ci lavorano, mi porto un bel ricordo ♥️

Una experiencia increíble, fue mi primer viaje sola, tenia mil planes organizados y acabé improvisando porq aquí la gente es maravillosa, sin duda me llevo una pequeña familia✨
Es un hostal juvenil, con muy buen ambiente, naturaleza, actividades y donde seguro volverás con mil experiencias.
Empezar el día haciendo yoga es de las mejores sensaciones del mundo, JJ es un amor y no importa el nivel q tengas q ella va a ayudarte y progresarás muy rápido!
Es un hostal donde no se nota la diferencia entre trabajadores, voluntarios y huéspedes y eso hace la experiencia aún más bonita. Sin duda volveré.
Nos vemos en alguna parte del mundo chicos 🌍✨

The yoga classes are really good and were one of my personal highlights!
The bathrooms are quite simple and have limited capacity. That can definitely improved.

This is one of those special places you can show up to with no plans and leave with lifelong memories. I loved all the workers- immediantly upon checking in, everyone was so lovely and friendly. I highly recomment joining Jamie’s yoga class (which is also free). Did my first handstand with her help!! Already planning my return back😊

Swojski glamping w starej plantacji bananów, kilometr od szosy i z dala od infrastruktury turystycznej.

Ciekawe doświadczenie, aż chciałem zostać o jedną dobę dłużej :P Otóż zarezerwowałem klasyczne piętrowe łóżko w pokóju wieloosobowym, a otrzymałem przestronny, dwuosobowy bell tent. Z wyjściem na zjawiskową panoramę Atlantyku wraz z La Gomerą.
Generalnie swojski, biwakowy klimat z dostępem do dość dobrze wyposażonej kuchni w budynku głównym, otwartych pryszniców z gorącą wodą przy tymże budynku oraz dwóch drewnianych sławojek z porcelaną i bieżącą wodą w środku, wystarczająco zadbanych i pachnących. O pokojach w budynku nie będę się wypowiadał, bo nie było mi dane ich używać.
W kwestii dojazdu do cywilizacji, owszem najlepiej samochód, ale w zasadzie tylko ten kilometr do przetruchtania i zaraz przy wyjściu na drogę przystanek ze sprawnie, co pół godziny jeżdżącym autobusem wzdłuż wybrzeża, dla mnie nie było problemu.
Personel, jakiś tam był, skupiony na swoich sprawach i działający w swoim gronie. Innymi słowy, nie potrzebowaliśmy wzajemnie swojego towarzystwa. Generalnie biznes w fazie rozwoju, wiele jeszcze do zrobienia.

Wszystko dobrze żarło, dopóki nie zaczęło padać przez ostatnie dwie doby... Horror to mało powiedziane, po otwarciu namiotu, oczom moim ukazał się nie idylliczna panorama na ocean, tylko otulony gęstą mgłą jak mleko, widok sfałdowanych mas o konsystencji i kolorze sraczki. Przeprawa w tym błocie w japonkach, pod prysznic, do WC i do kuchni nie napawała optymizmem. Nawet sprzątaczka brodziła w tym szlamie po kostki. W nocy zimno, mnie uratował śpiwór, współlokatora litr wódki przed spaniem. Niby chłopaki wyposażyli namiot w grzejnik elektryczny, jednak bez przedłużacza do słupa z energią na zewnątrz. Generalnie biznes w fazie rozwoju, więc jak to na budowie bywa, gwar i syf... i jeszcze jedno, brak jadalnii, nie było gdzie zjeść, dwa stoliki 50 metrów od kuchni, to za mało i za daleko

Camping fantastico!
Ho alloggiato nella tenda tipi che regala un’atmosfera magica.
Sono presenti tutti i servizi essenziali per soggiornare.
La vista è davvero suggestiva, soprattutto all’alba e al tramonto.
I ragazzi del campeggio sono super cordiali, mi è sembrato di far parte di una grande famiglia.

Beautiful stay at the tree house, it is in a slightly remote location so a car is ideal but there are buses nearby.
The staff were lovely and fun, very relaxing atmosphere, with events and yoga on, and the resident kitties.
Beautiful stay, would highly recommend and would stay again ☺️

I stayed 8 nights at Twin Fin Surf Camp, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing.
From the moment we arrived, we were asked to pay more money than what was agreed in our booking. Everything was very confusing, especially because the place is no longer actually Twin Fin and now seems to operate under the name Tree House, which was never clearly communicated in advance.
I stayed with a friend — same booking, same price — yet I received a much smaller tent with no explanation. This felt unfair and poorly managed.
The organization was terrible overall. The place is mainly run by volunteers, and the vibe was not good. They mostly stayed among themselves, barely interacted with guests, and were not helpful at all when problems occurred or assistance was needed.
Another serious issue: they accepted only cash, and no receipt or proof of payment was provided, which felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable.
We booked a package including surf and yoga, all prepaid, but the schedule was extremely poorly organized, with activities overlapping, making it impossible to attend everything we had paid for.
The entire area is a construction site, which was never mentioned before arrival and did not feel safe or relaxing. During our stay, there was also a tropical storm, and one tent got completely flooded. Despite this serious situation, no help or support was provided by staff — we had to clean and remove the water ourselves, with no assistance or concern shown.
When we asked for a refund for the activities we could not do due to poor management, we were told by the manager (a person we never met) that no refunds are given because Twin Fin previously went bankrupt and was sold to Tree House. This explanation made no sense to us as paying guests.
As another reason for refusing a refund, we were told that they do not charge for yoga because it is included in every package. However, during our stay, we were asked to pay 8€ per yoga lesson per person, without staff realizing that we had already prepaid and booked yoga as part of our package. This added even more confusion and clearly shows the poor management and lack of communication.
The only positive part was the surf, and that was only because it was arranged by an external instructor who was not related to the camp. The quality of the surf experience had nothing to do with the camp itself.
Overall, this place lacks transparency, basic organization, safety, and proper guest care. Very poor value for money and a stressful experience. I would not recommend this surf camp.

My experience at The Tree House was truly wonderful.
It’s a place with a very special energy, where nature, people and attention to detail really matter...
The atmosphere is warm, light and genuine, the kind of place where you feel at home even when you’re far away. The common areas invite connection, sharing, and also quiet moments when you need them.
The team is kind, human and present, always available to help, talk and take care of the space with real care. You can feel that everything is done with intention.
I leave with gratitude, beautiful memories, and the certainty that I would come back without hesitation.
I truly recommend it to anyone looking for more than just a place to sleep, but an experience with soul.
