Someone stole about €30 worth of turrón I had bought in Barcelona from the shared fridge. Since there is no fridge in the rooms, guests are expected to use the shared one. When I reported the theft, I was simply told that the shared fridge wasn’t covered by CCTV and that nothing could be done. Only after I repeatedly insisted did they review footage from other common areas, but nothing was found.
If I had known there was no CCTV monitoring the shared fridge, I would never have stored anything there. What disappointed me most was not just the theft, but how little the hotel seemed to care about what had happened. I left feeling that my belongings were not safe and that guests could expect very little support if something went wrong. I will never stay here again. The location isn't great either, and the bedding didn’t feel clean. I strongly recommend choosing another hotel.

After reading the hotel’s response, I would like to clarify a few points. My biggest disappointment was the staff’s indifferent attitude when I reported the theft. I also had to repeatedly request that the CCTV footage be reviewed. I received an apology only by email after I contacted the hotel, not in person. I declined housekeeping because my belongings were spread out, not because I was satisfied with the room’s cleanliness. I wrote this review in the hope that no other guest has to go through the same experience..
