Le camere sono celle del monastero, spartane. La struttura è coeva della Cattedrale e le si trova quasi attaccata. La ristrutturazione è perfetta, la presenza di tecnologie nuovissime danno il tocco di modernità in armonia con l'austerità medievale

Amazing location, behind the Cathedral of Saint James the Greater and Apostle. Front desk was efficient and helpful. Room was clean. The 4th floor rooms are considered pilgrim rooms and have not been updated and are very small. Windows are small at the top of the slanting wall. We felt very tight with 2 suitcases and backpacks. We would have liked to have understood the situation as we would have chosen a lower floor in the hotel rooms. They have been updated, have large windows or doors and more character. We booked in advance but didn’t know what to book. The breakfast is very busy and well supplied. Many guests have no manners, which is not a fault of the hotel. Common spaces are nice. The hotel is quiet!

Een must voor elke pelgrim die in Santiago aankomt. Het voormalige klooster staat bijna naast de kathedraal. Uitstekend ontbijt. Elke avond pelgrimsmenu in de refter. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Kamers met douche en toilet zijn niveau pelgrim, maar met goed bed en schoon. Toplocatie!

You can really feel this place is a converted monastery. You will either love that about it, or hate it. As someone who scares easily, there are many times I have brisked walked through the hallways hoping I don't see anything I wouldn't want to. 🤣

That aside, the beds were soft and comfy. You also can't get any better in terms of location to Santiago de Compostela. Breakfast was the usual. They had good laundry machines with you could pay via card and had the detergents built in.

Everything exceptionally clean. The staff extremely welcoming and attentive. Breakfast and dinner was included. Dinner was excellent with many options. Must have the coffee flan. Breakfast was exactly what you need to finish the El Camino walk.

Also there was a sitting areas inside and out that allows you to step away from groups.
