Wow, what a vacation! We had an amazing time at Corralejo Coliving by Amazzzing Travel. The hostel was perfect for us and our needs: a comfortable bed, a spacious common area with a kitchen, and cozy sofas to relax on. As soon as you stepped outside, you could see the ocean and take your coffee to enjoy along the promenade.
The host was very friendly and welcoming. He even made us coffee right away when we arrived.
We would love to come back!
amazing experience!! super nice people/volunteers, clean, cozzy, good location, harmonious environment, great for women traveling solo. :)
The apartment was very clean. The manager was very friendly and welcoming.
Nice and friendly atmosphere, very nice and easy people. Nice Hoster. Clean kitchen, clean restrooms. Everyone respected the Rest periods. I stayed for 4 days , slept well and had a very good time. Hope to see you guys again one sunny day.
Cheers
Great location near the port bus stop and the sea. Small cozy place where it is easy to get to know fellow guests. The staff were great helpful and informative. Space for the working as well. Really enjoyed my stay.
Cheap and cheerful. Beds need a reading light and better electrical outlets and the showers need a facelift. But I did have a good time. Staff and the company (amazzzing travel) are very helpful and offer fantastic service. They arrange group activities 3 or 4 times a week which is aimed at getting people to make friends and have a good time, not up selling and making a profit. I would 100% stay again.

Unfortunately booked before the last 2 reviews were written. Arrived at around 9pm at night and didn’t feel good here at all. I left and didn’t stay the night in the end - even though I didn’t have anywhere else to go. Disappointing as I had booked based on the good reviews but think it’s very dependent on the crowd in this place. There were 2 guys in their 70s there who were really drunk (one of them couldn’t even stand up straight). One of them was making weird comments about my nationality when I walked in. There was no way I was sharing a bedroom with them. Didn’t feel safe as a solo female traveller. Similar to one of the reviews I had booked factoring in pictures of a pool so disappointed by that also. Volunteers seemed nice but nothing they could really do to help the situation!
Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing and I cannot recommend this accommodation. The place does not match the photos: there is no pool and no rooftop terrace, even though both are shown online. When I arrived, no staff member was present, which made check-in quite stressful as the bed numbers were hidden and I couldn’t find the right bed.
There is only one dorm with 10 beds and no windows, which resulted in very poor air circulation. Several guests became sick because viruses couldn’t escape such an enclosed space. Many people decided to leave earlier than planned – including myself.
The average age of the guests was around 70, which is not a problem in itself, but it is worth mentioning as the hostel did not attract a mixed or younger crowd as expected. There was also no space in the fridge, making it difficult to store food. When I mentioned that, the volunteers cleaned the fridge and created space for me, what was kind
What I absolutely want to highlight is the outstanding work of volunteer Julius. He genuinely did everything he could to make guests feel more comfortable and supported. He is extremely dedicated, kind, and proactive. He truly deserves a promotion and a well paid salary, as he’s really working hard. Without him, I would have checked out on the very first day.
I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but this experience unfortunately left me no other choice.
I chose this hostel based on the public Google Maps listing, which clearly showed a rooftop terrace and a swimming pool. These features were a decisive factor for my booking. After arrival it became clear: neither a rooftop nor a pool exists at this property. Later I was told these images only refer to “community events at external locations”. This was never clearly communicated beforehand.
Because of this, my stay turned out very different from what I had expected and what influenced my decision to book. Being able to sit outside where I live is essential for me, and the absence of any real outdoor space completely changed the quality of my stay.
After staying 6 nights, I requested an early checkout and a partial refund for the unused nights based on this misleading representation. The response from the host was strictly policy-driven, with zero human flexibility, and no refund was offered at all - only future credit, which is not realistic to use.
What was most disappointing:
The entire communication felt cold, dismissive and purely defensive, shifting blame to “policy”, “platforms” and “timing”, rather than taking responsibility for how the place is publicly represented and how guests feel when expectations are clearly not met.
At this point, this is no longer just about money, but about trust and integrity. When a place advertises features that do not exist and then refuses any fair solution, the line between misleading advertising and felt deception becomes extremely thin.
However, I want to give special credit to the volunteers working here:
They were consistently warm, helpful and grounded. They clearly do everything in their power to create a positive atmosphere and compensate for the dysfunctional and detached management style. Without them, the stay would have been significantly worse.
Explicit warning to future guests:
Do not rely on external listings or photos showing rooftop, terrace or pool. Clarify everything in writing beforehand. Otherwise, you may end up paying for something that simply does not exist - with no goodwill solution afterward.
