Contact via booking, email, website message, and WhatsApp app, but no response. Despite payment, no information. I do not recommend.
Lovely place, lovely people. Been twice now. They have 2 rooftop areas and a bar that's open from 7pm til 11pm every night they also do daily activities such as meditation surfing etc: I can only remember Defne & Louise who checked me in both really friendly and helpful.I love the mixture of people from different countries too. Highly recommend 👌💯🤗
This hostel is one of the best i have ever been to, the shared spaces are so cozy and the vibe is welcoming and fun.
The position is perfect because there is a central bus station 3 minutes away and the buses will take you anywhere.
I want to say thanks to everyone in the hostel, especially the volunteers Camilla and Svenja. I cannot wait to come back!
Doña Rose Old Town Hostel has been my first hostel experience and it couldn’t have been any better: it really feels like a community and honestly I can’t wait to go back!!
Special thanks to Anika, Camilla, and all the other volunteers for their friendliness and hospitality, thank you for making my birthday so special🫶🏻
The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.
Special thanks to Anika, who was incredibly welcoming and kind!
Positive:
The staff is great, especially the girls at reception, they are very kind, helpful, and responsible. The location is good, although it is a bit far from the beach if you want to swim in the sea.
Negative:
There are several things that could be improved. The rooms do not have proper ventilation and there are no windows, which makes them feel quite closed. The mattresses are very poor quality and the pillows are extremely thin, almost nonexistent. The beds are very noisy, so every time you move during the night, the noise can wake you up. On my last day, I could not use the common living area because there was a guy sleeping on the couch. Also, the living room has broken windows and it gets very cold in the afternoon. Lastly, there is a cat that goes into the rooms. It would be good to inform guests in advance, especially for those who have allergies or are afraid of animals.
That was a perfect place, I went there alone but didn't feel lonely at all 🥰
After two days I left the hostel, with warm goodbye with the volunteers of the hostel and literally started to feel sad.
But that was just the beginning of investigating the island)
Loge the memories and a warm welcome to the city 🥰
And for not letting me feel like in a regular hotel or hostel 😎
Special thanks to Luna and Jenni 🥰🥰
Some of volunteers who I remember now and going to remember))
We stayed here in December, only for one night, but it was really nice. We met Luna, a volunteer here, and she helped us a lot with travel ideas, places to visit, and local transportation. We also had great talks with other guests and the staffs. We made great memories here, we‘ll be back :)
I had a great stay at Doña Rose Old Town Hostel for a few nights. The team were super helpful in accommodating my delayed flight, ensuring I knew how to check in and get to the hostel from the airport. The hostel itself is a nice space, with good sized rooms, great spaces such as the lounge, roof terrace and kitchen for use too. Anika, Defne and Luna were particularly welcoming for my stay and great hosts for the social events!! Deffo recommend a stay here and would love to come back
