Une excellente expérience passée 1 semaine dans cette location, super emplacement à 2 minutes de la plage avec des personnes super accueillante des rencontres humaines intéressantes. Pour des rencontres inoubliable et un environnement de détente et de paix je vous recommande fortement cette adresse ps: le cuisiner français avec les crêpes 😁😁😁

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Good vibes all round. Place was clean and kept well. There a great facilities in the hostel for people to eat. Quiet time is respected and loads of events organized within the hostel for trips walks. Over all a great experience

J’ai passé un excellent moment au sein de l’auberge, située à deux pas de la plage et dotée d’une superbe terrasse pour se détendre.

Je ne peux que recommander Ashavana. De plus, l’équipe est à l’écoute, très agréable et professionnelle.

This is truly a place of love, the staff if amazing, so is the expirience. Dont trust the low reviews, the place is a hub for friendly people. Yes it can be snoring and people moving at night, but what do you expect in a hostel other than that, part of the expirience 😉 i was super happy 6 nights

Brilliant location. Supermarket right across the road . Beach is 2 mins away and it's a nice quaint little cove. Restaurants line the beach, bus station is right next to the beach.
AshavanaNest Hostel is an original building for fishermen and there are still a few features.
The dorm/bedrooms are small and have 3 tier bunk beds.
That's not too much of a problem really as everyone respects the quiet time which is 11pm inside and 10 pm the roof terrace closes with respect for the neighbours.
The roof terrace is bloody amazing.. Really hot in the afternoons and it's big with a couple of sofas, a couple of chairs and some enormous bean bags. At night it's chilly but looking at the stars is lovely.
Kitchen is a bit small but as this is a traditional Canarian fisherman's building there isn't much that can be changed.
There are events on most days, scan the QR code at reception for full info.
I would go back there as the staff and volunteers are really nice, helpful and friendly. Especially ALEX who was my saviour on leaving day..!!!!! It's just a shame that in my last week I got a broken arm and decided I would have to leave my suitcase & most of my clothes and stuff behind, I had 3 canvas bags put aside to take home and most of that was stolen. 8 packs of cigarettes, a full pouch of tobacco. Brand new clothes plus 3 t.shirts that I'd had for 15 years and had a lot of meaning to me but nobody else . Heart medication I had Bought from the pharmacy went missing and was no use to anyone else.
AshavanaNest Hostel is a really chilled place and I met people from all over the world 🌎. Famous DJS were performing on the beach area on my last night and staying at Ashavana Nest. They were just normal friendly lads.
All in all Ashavana Nest Hostel is a great place to stay, smack bang in the middle of the action but quiet at night.
Gotta mention the builders opposite, they start at 7am and finish at 4pm. Noisy and the cement mixer was right outside our window and inside the hostel the stereo music was so loud that I had to turn it down to use my phone.

If you are going to Tenerife South then you should stay at Ashavana Nest Hostel for a few nights just to feel the vibe.
I was there for 2 weeks.
There's Cleaning daily but no one can stop the sand coming in on shoes.
I have to say a great big THANK YOU to staff and volunteers & also everyone I met there.
In my last week the staff helped as much as they could because of my broken arm.,
I really appreciated having people around me and I felt safe.
One lady there took me to hospital, I never would of found it without Christina's help.
I hope to see you all again in May/June for the double sunset . ♥️💛💙

Noi abbiamo dormito una notte, conosciuto belle persone,lo "staff" molto disponibile in un ambiente familiare,una grande terrazza,la spiaggia a 5 minuti, domenica cena indiana preparata da Mandi,che ho mangiato con molto piacere,se passeremo da Tenerife ci ritorneremo,inshallah.

Great hostel in Medano!
The place is a little cramped so if you like your own space or need to spread out consider (plus quite creakey beds) elsewhere especially when the wind is up BUT the proximity means it's one big family.
I can see why half of the guests had already returned at least once and I will too

Le doy una estrella ya que no se puede menos, no se ni como describir mi expereciencia en este hostel, simplemente horrorosa.
Suelo alojarme en este tipo de lugares pero nunca me habia encontrado con una terraza llena de borrachos que no dejan descansar o incluso gente consumiendo drogas.
A los propietarios parece que no les importa ya que ellos no tienen que dormir ahi.
Todo esto sin mencionar las chinches que habia en los colchones.
