If you do not appreciate your sleep, and would like to share a room with people like in the attached photos coming home at 6 am and making remarks completely against the core values of this business, do stay here for your holdiday.

Would not recommend this hostel if you care about responsible tourism or respecting the local neighbourhood. I live next door and groups of guests regularly gather outside the hostel late at night and return from partying between 3 and 5 AM, staying outside talking for long periods of time. Last night, the noise continued from around 3:30 AM until 5 AM, making it impossible to sleep.
The hostel management was contacted directly about the issue and acknowledged the problem, but unfortunately the same situation continues. Local residents have repeatedly had to go outside and ask guests to keep the noise down.
A party hostel can still be responsible for how its activity impacts the people who actually live in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be properly managed here.

No recomendaría este hostel si te importa el turismo responsable o el respeto por el vecindario. Vivo justo al lado y es habitual que grupos de huéspedes se concentren en la puerta del hostel por la noche y regresen de fiesta entre las 3 y las 5 de la madrugada, quedándose fuera hablando durante largos periodos de tiempo. La pasada noche, el ruido se prolongó aproximadamente desde las 3:30 hasta las 5:00, haciendo imposible dormir.
Se contactó directamente con la dirección del hostel, que reconoció el problema, pero lamentablemente la misma situación continúa. En repetidas ocasiones, los vecinos han tenido que salir a pedir a los huéspedes que bajen el volumen.
Un party hostel puede seguir siendo responsable de cómo su actividad afecta a las personas que viven en el barrio. Lamentablemente, parece que aquí no se está gestionando adecuadamente.

Special shoutout to Sasha, Olly and Alice for making my short stay welcoming. They are super friendly and love the effort they put in to make sure the guests feel like a part of a community. Rooms and washrooms were clean, and the shared space is nice to chill in. There is AC in the dorms which is also nice

An even more special shoutout to the people in my room in 4A. I lucked out in rooming and getting to know some great people and few others on other floors - ya’ll know who you are. May we all cross paths with each other in this life again :)

Your stay is only as good as you make it to be but Onefam Paralelo definitely made things easier. Highly recommend!

Originally booked to stay at Onefam Paralelo for 3 nights but ended up extending to a week! Facilities were very clean and beds were comfortable. Important to understand that this hostel puts a lot of emphasis on social group activities and nightlife. On average, the age demographic was about 23-33 which makes for a fun and lively group of people all looking to socialize. The day activities and nightlife outings are directed by the hostel volunteers which are always a great time and well organized. During my stay, the staff: Olly, Alice, and Eugenio did a fantastic job keeping good energy at the hostel and guiding these activities.

This was my first time staying in a Hostel, and it was amazing. Olly and Gabriella were the BEST.

Super easy to meet fellow travelers, and it was only a 10 minute walk from the bus/metro.

(Just make sure to bring earplugs in case your roommates are loud lol)

I had an amazing time at Onefam Paralelo. This was my first time in Spain and this was the perfect place to make friends. Gabrii, Olly, Alice, and Eugenio were so kind and did a great job of leading the events and making everyone feel welcome.

The tours were great and they showed us a great time at the different bars and clubs at night

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is quite walkable with a lot of great restaurants and bars nearby.

Really appreciate the visit and the staff, hope to be back soon!

Very welcoming people, clean spaces, fantastic staff, and a great location. With the group events you have the option to be as social or as to yourself as you’d like. I couldn’t ask for a better hostel experience

OneFam Paralelo was an absolute blast! I had so much fun there. Gabriela, Eugenio, Lilly, and Alice were all so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend for a great time in Barcelona!

I had such a great visit at Onefam Paralelo. This was my first time traveling alone, staying in a hostel, and being in Spain. But Gabrii, Olly, and Alice were so awesome and did a great job of making me feel comfortable and welcome.

The shared space, free home-cooked family dinner, and organized party games made it super easy to meet other guests, who were all so genuine and came from a variety of different backgrounds. Everyone was so friendly and open to talk, and strangers quickly became friends. All of this was followed by a super fun night out at some really cool bars & clubs in the city with guests from the sister hostels.

The tours during the day are a great way to bring people together and help build connections. I did a walking tour of the Sagrada Família.

The rooms and bathrooms are clean, comfortable, and safe! The hostel is located in a walkable central area, with restaurants, stores, and bars nearby.

Really appreciate the visit and hospitality. Hope to go back soon!
