Me ha gustado bastante tiene un ambiente juvenil ideal para conocer y conectar con personas, viaje sola y conocí a muchos otros viajer@s armamos grupos y fue muy divertido y sale más a cuenta movilizarte por la isla en grupo alquilando coches sobre todo para ir a las calas que están más alejadas te ahorras mucho tiempo y es más cómodo, el hostal en general muy limpio, el personal muy amable y resolutivo, las instalaciones modernas y la organización y distribución del lugar muy bien 👌🏼, un puntazo también es la piscina arriba, la ubicación del lugar está bien leí reseñas de que era peligroso pero realmente no, es una zona tranquila y segura

1. Issues with the booking process

I booked this accommodation through Booking.com. After my plans changed, I wanted to add one more night to my stay, so I contacted the accommodation to ask whether changing my booking dates was possible.

They told me it was possible, and at that time Booking.com showed €64 for the additional night, so I submitted a request.
However, my request was rejected. When I asked the accommodation why, they claimed that they had approved it and that it had been rejected because of an “unknown error” on Booking.com’s side. They asked me to try again the following day.

When I tried again the next day, I was told that I could no longer submit the request because the accommodation had already rejected it. They then gave me an email address and told me to contact them directly. Suddenly, the price for the additional night was €90.

I questioned why the price had increased by €26 in just one day, but they insisted that it was not their fault and that the original price I had seen was no longer valid.

I contacted Booking.com myself, and they told me that no such technical error had been reported. According to their records/logs, the only action recorded from the accommodation was that the request had been rejected.

In other words, the accommodation blamed a supposed Booking.com error that, according to Booking.com, never happened. They also refused to answer when Booking.com tried to contact them by phone.

I eventually paid the additional amount because I simply did not want to waste any more time arguing with them, but I found their behavior extremely dishonest and unethical. They managed to ruin my mood even before my trip had properly started.

2. Unsafe locker and terrible response from the accommodation

When I checked in, the locker assigned to me was already broken and visibly open. The gap was large enough for me to put my hand and arm inside and reach the belongings on the upper shelf.

I did not feel that it was safe to store my belongings there. (Please see the video — my entire arm can fit inside the gap.)
I asked if I could be moved to another locker, but they told me that all lockers of the same type had already been booked and that the only option was to move me to a room with more people. They also said that they could not refund the price difference.

I was extremely disappointed with this response and asked them to provide another solution. Their suggestion was to leave my luggage at the reception and repeatedly go back and forth between the reception and my room.

My room was on the third floor, so this was obviously not a reasonable solution. When I complained, the staff member repeatedly said, “I understand your situation,” but then made things even worse by saying that the gap was too narrow for someone to actually take my bag out.

That response only made me more frustrated because the point was not whether someone could easily steal my bag — the point was that the locker was visibly broken and did not feel secure in the first place.

3. Location and bedding

I have stayed in more than ten different hostels, but this was the first time I encountered a hostel that insisted that a duvet cover was a “blanket.”

Everyone else in my room agreed that it was not an actual blanket. You had to specifically ask the reception for a proper blanket. Some guests did not know this and apparently spent several nights feeling cold because they assumed the bedding provided in the room was all they were supposed to receive.

The location is also quite inconvenient. It is far from the city center, and the bus stops needed to get anywhere require at least a 20-minute walk. The surrounding area also did not feel safe at night. I also kept finding small ants inside the accommodation.

For all of these reasons, this was by far the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at, and I will absolutely never come back.

I strongly do NOT recommend this place.

Clean, safe, and good hostel for few days! Comfortable beds too. Thumbs up for Maite and the rest of the guys at the entrance who helped with anything needed:)

Aubierge de grande qualité, espaces communs maintenus propres. La psicine au rooftop est idéale pour passer un moment calme, je recommande !

Sin dudas el mejor hostel que van a estar, las camas son super privadas y comodas, los baños limpios y privados, y el locker para guardar las cosas es grande y seguro. Sumado a todo eso el personal muy amable e integrador, realizan actividades y siempre predispuestos para ayudar. La ubicación es buena tenes unos 10 minutos al centro caminando pero es seguro y tiene una cocina enorme donde podes comer y todo.

L’auberge est propre, moderne et sécurisée.
L’ambiance est bonne et les voyageurs respectueux (j’étais dans une chambre mixte et tout s’est très bien passé).
L’auberge est un peu éloignée du centre ce qui demande pas mal de marche mais je n’ai pas trouvé cela gênant, il faut juste prévoir un petit temps de marche.
Tout le personnel est vraiment très attentionné et gentil, c’est un vrai plus, avec une mention spéciale à Guada !
J’ai fait une journée d’excursion proposée par l’hostel - criques et visite de Deia avec Alex - et c’était super.
En résumé très bon séjour.
